This is ultimately a good thing for us IMO. We are now solidly underdogs, there isn't any "Oh they beat them the last few times before the season ended" stuff. The media and fans will remember being blown out, not us blowing them out last game.

And our team hasn't been the underdog in a while. It might give us a bit of a mental break and just let them play.

I never did that bud. Just pointed out that Wayne Simmonds sucks.

When the Leafs beat Tampa last time was it a home ice clinching scenario? Yes or No?

It is tonight. I would think this is more important but you don't. Why? Easier to call me emotional? I'm as calm as can be. Just facts. Leafs lay eggs when something is on the line.
When Tampa was still in on home ice and Boston and got embarrassed by this terrible Leafs team? Were they still in it? Yes or no?
It is not more important but you don't? Why? Better to say your opinion is more right? Overreacting on one game is not calm and false facts. Boston laid an egg in a big game

Does anyone notice that Kallgren completely overplays the left side of the net when the puck is on that side of the ice. I know his glove is not the best but he leaves way too much net open on his blocker side to compensate.

You could see it on the first three goals. His glove covers practically nothing that is on net, and anything that goes from his left to his right is practically an open net.

I'd like to hear @acrobaticgoalie about it but it seems like he is never square and he likes to cheat a little bit to his left to cover for a weak glove hand. Case in point on that 5th goal. Beat him 100% clean from the blueline.
He's a shit goalie that has no business playing in a game with players of this caliber. He wasn't good in the AHL.

If the Leafs win tonight, which they won't, Tampa is eliminated from the possibility of home-ice in Round 1. A loss opens the door to the Leafs going on the road to start Round 1.

Call me crazy, as many seem to be, that is kind of important.

Just another sell job to one's self that it doesn't matter. Nothing to see here. Just like always.
Meh, to say you are crazy is a bit of a stretch. At least you are using some brain cells, more than a lot of the other posters.

I'd say your theory is as much of a stretch. Can't see that motivating anyone.

If we play like this vs FLA though, I will be questioning this team.

If the Leafs lose another game in the regular season this year, we should consider breaking the team up in the off season. - Leaf fans.
