Simmonds and Clifford are going to play a role this post season, guaranteed.

They can lose this game, but if they secure home ice and have a healthy Matthews, Muzzin, Camobell and hopefully Kase, it will be a different game.

Leafs hopefully come out in the third and get a goal, send a message or two before it's over. Lose the battle, but plan on winning the war in the playoffs.

Muzzin and Kase must be considered long shots no?

Such a meaningful game to Toronto! So meaningful they sat Matthews when he can more then likely play right now, along with Muzzin and then started the backup goalie.

My favorite is seeing a bunch of posters you haven't seen in the past 2 or 3 weeks start posting after a game like this.

Muzzin absolutely has to get traded this off season. He has not been an upgrade when he plays this year and with Sandin back next year, Rielly, Giordano and Sandin is the left side, IMO.

That 5.6 million can be used to help upgrade the right side, upgrade the goaltending, or add some scoring depth.
