It's worth double checking my math; but, I think a regulation win will secure the Leafs finishing ahead of Tampa. That leaves Tampa with a max 110 points and tying the Leafs, where the Leafs are far ahead on the RW tiebreaker.

Look at ANY team over 9 years and you will find similar results, especially where the team was developmentally.

This seems to be the featured game on ESPN tonight so that's most likely the reason for the late start.

If the Leafs win the odds increase more then likely play Boston in round #1, and if Tampa wins it all but sets up a 1st round matchup.

Going to be an interesting game to decide things.
