Gus and Cuylle made some terrific plays you don't see on the scoresheet (Gus with his ability to make quick pass to get out of zone and Cuylle with a ridiculous full rink backcheck to break up odd man rush). Two terrific additions for 2023-2024 season.

Pretty much like in preseason most of them were ready to jump off the ledge despite the fact that preseason means NOTHING !

Watched the game entirely after it was over.
Cuylle, we've been waiting for a guy to come from this organization since the years of Cally and Dubi. The guy is exactly what we needed.
Lafreniere is proof of what can happen when a team shows confidence in you, he's the player we drafted.
Jones and Schneider looked a lot better tonight, like a lot better. Jones was smoother and quicker with his passes.
Our goaltending depth is ridiculous, we got Garand on the bench as our #4, unreal.
I'm all aboard this team contending this year, we're a wagon without Zibs and Kakko really hitting their stride and i expect both to be better and Fox and Chytil out of the lineup.
With our 2nd line playing well i wonder if the temptation might be to put Chytil with Kakko and Cuylle since Chytil and Kakko have some chemistry. I'd be ok with that
Also, as much grief as Trouba gets here for his paycheck, i love having him on this team, he is a horse for us.
Also i feel Lafreniere deserves Trocheks spot on the pp given his chemistry with Panarin.

I have no issue with Zibs effort, even when he isn't scoring he is working his bag off.

love seeing laf playing the way he is...shoving it up the hoop of everyone who wouldn't listen the last few years that he just needed time.

other than that another gutty win for a team down both nhl goalies and adam fox. this team is deep and has a promising mentality.

Kakko has one tap in goal on the goal line. He’s by far the biggest disappointment out there. Not even close

I’m sorry, but if I wanted a shutdown center I can get one for far cheaper than 8.5mil.

There is zero defence and excuse for Zibs play this season. Zero.
