Confirmed with Link: Taige Harding Signs Entry Level Deal

I think Crevier's progression helps. Hawks probably see a LHD version of him in Harding. Think his ceiling is more of a 7th D but hey, why not see what you have.

His stretch goal comp when drafted was Colton Parayko......if he can hold down a 3rd line pairing and add some toughness, all good....We've got some big D but I don't necessarily see toughness in Vlasic or Crevier.....Nolan Allen and EDM are probably the toughest.

Signing this guy reminds me of this exchange from The Princess Bride:
Miracle Max:
Go away or I'll call the Brute Squad.

Fezzik:
I'm on the Brute Squad.

Miracle Max:
You *are* the Brute Squad

Wasn't he the draft pick that was literally off the board as in not being on any draft boards. I believe he caused a Musto Melt Down. MMD syndrome.
He was drawing comparisons to Colton Parayko at the draft. Drafted out of the same league, for the same team, comparable stats (Harding smaller sample size). That's partly why CHI drafted him so early. Didn't help that it was the 2021 draft though, which will go down as one of the weirdest drafts ever considering how many guys has so few (if any) games that year.

I wasn’t referencing another post. Look at Harding’s Elite Prospects page. He wasn’t rated in the draft.
