Thompson-Eichel-Reinhart could be interesting.
He just said he's best on the right side during his phone conference.

Is it a good sign? I've felt that way about our prospects in the past, but it eventually seems to feel like they were rushed and didn't reach full potential.Still can't believe we didn't get Thomas or Kyrou but this kid isn't chopped liver as a prospect. His 3 NHL goals are on YouTube, he's a hulk and the shot is a laser. That he's played so many NHL games as a 2016 draft pick is a good sign.
Good, we need Reinhart fighting for center with Mittelstadt on the 3rd line, or at least providing high-IQ support to Mittelstadt's shenanigans. He just said he's best on the right side during his phone conference.
I feel like I've seen him score a lot of goals from his off-wing. Maybe that was just on the PP like Eichel? He just said he's best on the right side during his phone conference.
You can hate the value of the trade and not hate the players. I mean they are Sabres now I hope no one would actively hope they do bad.Not looking forward to a bunch of people here giving this guy no chance because they, like me, hate this trade.
I dont think you get why he got those 41 games, St. Louis would have probably wanted to keep him in the AHL but he was forced up due to injuries. He didn't get those 41 games because he was ready and in those 41 games with 9 points it looks like he struggled more than he was ready.Still can't believe we didn't get Thomas or Kyrou but this kid isn't chopped liver as a prospect. Thompson's rookie year P/60 and P1/60, playing with Stastny, Berglund, and Sobotka (read: likely combo's this year) are identical to Zemgus's ES contributions to our Sabres team playing with his Larsson, Pominville etc.
I'm hoping Tage is ready but I'm not expecting it just yet.
He's great at protecting decks from water damage.

He needs Rochester, he needs a skating coach and someone to work out and feed him carbs to beef up.
Probably meaning training camp, I am sure Botterill told every rookie that. If they were to just gift this kid top 6 minutes that would set a bad example throughout the entire organization top to bottom reverberating right into Rochester. He said after talking to Botterill the Sabres plan to give him a shot in the top 6 which he was excited about.
Thompson likes plays in the NHL by the sound of it. Meanwhile the guy drafted by Murray like 20 picks earlier is still in no man's land.Rochester top line?
Smith Malone Thompson
That could be explosivo.

So... he thought he was "pigeon holed".... and we're gifting him a top 6 spot?
He'll fit right in with our young group.
That doesn't fit Botterill's philosophy, he probably means has a chance to come into camp and win a spot.So... he thought he was "pigeon holed".... and we're gifting him a top 6 spot?
