- 29/31 saves for Hugo. He hasn't let more than 2 goals in each of his last 3 starts
- Fortier scores his 4th goal of the season
- Koepke gets the empty netter for his 8th
- Groshev, Finley, Thompson all get assists

Duke with his 15th and 16th goals of the season. He had 18 last year and there's still a lot of hockey left to be played this season.

2 assists for Shaugabay. Luckily Shaugabay has some good players around him in Green Bay. Julian Lutz (an Arizona 2nd rounder) was just in the WJC with Germany, and Libor Nemec was with Slovakia this past month.



 
I don't know if Brandon Halverson normally has that dawg in him, but he hasn't lately.

Unrelated, but since we're very close to the European deadline. Vasterviks is last place in the Swedish Allsvenskan league, and they have a few North Americans. Jake McGrew is the one I'm familiar with. He was an AHL level talent like two years ago, but isn't putting up the points in Sweden. Poor +/-. I'm not sure what happened. He'll turn 25 next month.

Parker AuCoin will graduate from Carleton University soon. He played a few games with the Solar Bears in 18-19'.

As far as I can recall, I thought he was a good player and hoped that he'd have returned the next season, but used his WHL scholarship.

The NCAA free agent season started a bit early in Orlando, who have signed Nick Capone's former teammate, Ryan Mahshie.

- Chaffee and Merela both score in their return to Syracuse
- Syracuse now has 7 shorthanded goals by 7 different players: Merela, Lilleberg, Groshev, Carroll, Chaffee, Walcott, Koepke
- Hugo makes 21/22 saves. He has a 1.71 gaa / .941 sv% in his last 4 games



Huuhtanen gets another call up to the national team for the 3rd leg of the Euro Hockey Tour in Sweden. The games will be between Feb. 8th - 11th



Shaugabay is the USHL forward of the week
