I'd be very surprised if he would get to the level of Blum. Blum was for quite some time one of the best defenders in the Swiss league. I don't see Delemont coming close to that.

At this point having a constant NLA career should probably considered a success for him.

Pretty good first game. Hope the Swiss win but if they don't, there probably won't be much to complain about. I'd like to see Knak get better linemates but that's about it. If they don't win, the Slovak goalie was just too good.

Nice save with 3 seconds left... not the greatest game but I expected a really close game. 0-0 going into third is as close as it gets. Nailbiter time! Saflovsky (sp?) does look great.

This has really been a tough and close game and I believe the better physical shape is going to decide this now in the third. Must be quite a physically demanding game for both sides.

Yeah, he a bit does. He is 16 y.o. and certainly a great prospect. He also reminds me a little bit of Tomas Hertl. Especially the way he uses his shoulders to fake a move/pass/shot. I like his game, the best Slovak player so far to me.

Slafkovsky is a big kid and only 16,wow! Wonder if he'll continue to get better and better? For Slovak hockey there is some hope

I mean, I don't mind good penalties if they actually serve a purpose like preventing a scoring chance or sending a message physically. But all of the Swiss penalties have been stupid bs penalties. This has to stop going forward.

Yeah, definitely seems to be the case, alot of the OHL guys looked rusty in the Exhibition games

He’s got some good skill, he was projected to go a lot higher in the draft I remember.

There’s a decent player there I think.
