Well.. there are plenty of rumours about what Miller said to start this feud.. This is the first crack to address it.

Of course, EP would have to have courage which is something he appears very short on.

Swedens strengths has always been the collective, pyck possesion, defense, and some offensive star. Now there is just Forsberg and Nylander that is somewhat elite up front. E Pettersson a player that is truly superior against not elite opposition, but meh against elite. He should be a 2nd line 2 way center.

Sweden just lacks a centerpunch. EP is never great is NT. And Zibanejad is declining, Backström is injured , and also to old if he was healthy. Leo Carlsson shouldnt be the top line C, but should be the next 1C. Sad to say, Elias is just not a true 1C.

I think Sweden should stay with their lines, chemistry takes time. But I would myslef like to change lines a bit

I’ve gone back and forth on this on whether you really pump the brakes tonight or go balls to the wall. I think you have to try to win this game 10-0 and run Sweden out of the building. Keep progressing and improving before Thursday.

Idea for NHL, why not have both games on at the same time? One in MTL one in Boston. I mean, at least both games are meaningful to start. Now you have this game in the evening totally devoid of meaning. The fifa world cup has the 3rd round of games with teams in the same group having the same kickoff times.

It’s hard to watch two games at the same time, and that’s always the case whereas that is not the case with there being a meaningless game.

But yeah, let’s make hockey more like soccer. After they solidify the overlapping game thing, maybe they could work on eliminating penalties for diving?

Well it's a Monday and people will be home and looking for something to watch. No NBA or NFL and I think the types that would rather watch a random NCAA basketball game aren't going to give hockey a chance anyway. But maybe more people will let the wife or kids control the remote tonight.

I could see bandwagoners who only watched fight highlights from the Canada game watching this one as a pre-game hype for the final vs Canada.

If either team goes up 3-0, the other team will pack it up and call it a night. But if it's close, they should both be trying. It just probably won't have fights and not much hitting.
