Had to translate... why is might he be ought. Other than a Czech fanatic I'm also an Oiler's fanatic.lol Fanbase was ticked when they took Broberg over some sexy forwards and I love the pick. I need him to shine in this tourney and show everyone how elite he will become! That would be awful. Sweden has faced enough adversity as is. Hope he can play for them
Yup, last time Czechia won against Sweden was at the 2003 WJC's(so, 18 years since then).I haven't researched it but if Sweden is 52-0 in round robin and the Czechs have one quarter final win in 15 years... is it possible the Czechs haven't beat Sweden at this tourney in over a decade?
All we have to do is beat a better team with an never to be matched again 50+ wins in a row at this stage. No problem.lol
Raska out hurts us becaause Raska seems to be the epitomy of our 'balanced' (eg. we have no true stars) attack.
Normally I'd say 5-0 but Sweden has had no warmup matches and some adversity... 4-1 Sweden.
Broberg might not play tonight, nothing set in stone.Translation?
Thank you for saving me some digging.Yup, last time Czechia won against Sweden was at the 2003 WJC's(so, 18 years since then).
That 2003 team's roster hurts looking at.
Injured? Covid? 2020 curse?Broberg might not play tonight, nothing set in stone.
Minor injury is what's been stated.Injured? Covid? 2020 curse?

Thank You!Since 2010 7 Games: 10:1, 6:3, 4:1, 5:2, 5:2, 3:1 and 5:0 (Quaterfinal)
My prediction is that CZ will upset one of the top 5 teams and get smashed by others.

As Oil fans we need Broberg to be awesome.. such a smooth skating future elite D in the Swede tradition. Played in SEL full time this year so playing U20 Czechs should be 'fun' for him. I hope he's not hurt. To me, he's one of the best 3D in the tourney. I keep saying the Czechs need to ask Sweden what they are doing with developing all these elite D's.I was one of the ones on HFOil who actually liked the Broberg pick right from the get go.
You’ve got some split allegiances here brother, hoping your Czechs do well because you’re an awesome poster and one of my favourites around here but I go to say I’m pulling for Captain Broberg and the Swedes on this one, or at least I want to see Broberg do well.
He’s played excellent with his age group (Hlinka’s and U-18s he was outstanding for Sweden in his draft year).
This is pretty easily the best matchup on paper today. Looking forward to it.

My dream was the Bouch made it this year and then Broberg joined him next year. Eventually we could have a top pair of Bouch/Broberg which could be amazing. Dare to dream. He’s definitely grown as well physically he closer to 6’4/6’5 on the ice.
He looks absolutely massive in the Skelleftea games I’ve watched this year. He was off to a torrid stop then his play took a bit of a dip, then he finished strong before leaving for the WJC. His skating is a thing of beauty to watch.
D men take time to develop so we can be patient in his development, but he’ll be pushing for a roster spot in the 2021-22 season.
Sweden's team management: "Niederbach only makes it if in a top-6 role, that's why he didn't make it at first".Neiderbach should be 1C but we’ll see what happens
