I'm a Habs fan and very excited to see McDavid & Crosby & MacKinnon on the same team for the first time, and I think that'll be enough to put this team over the edge and have them win gold.

That being said - this is such a different feeling for Canada going into this tournament than it was in either 2014 or 2016, with Carey Price as goalie. Such a world of difference in regards to confidence and calmness you feel with him as your goalie.

I think Canada can win even if the goaltending is barely average - but it's a lot more open ended.

He had an .885 for Team Canada at the World Championships last spring which was good for 11th in the tournament among goalies.

He was just edged out by the Polish goalie, John Murray, for 10th.

He will be playing behind a MUCH better blueline. He's not going to see 2nd opportunities and shots will be kept to the outside for the most part. Binnington just needs to stay focused.
