I think it's going to be very intense. All this talk that it could play out like an all-star game (in intensity) is crazy imo. Once these boys put on their nations jerseys everything changes.

Winnies is usually a good time as well. Sir Winston Churchill Pub Complexe | Montreal

Those are in the same area, lots of bars around there.

No worries.
We don't get downtown often when we visit, my in-laws are in Lasalle but have been to both of those places many times.
I'm sure some locals could chime in with some other recommendations.
