MacKinnon in OT definitely had tunnel vision.

One solo rush is okay, but that many times gets a bit silly with two superstars on the ice with you.

McDavid should have had 4 points that game. He looked incredible in the first and is only going to get more comfortable when he figures out his linemates tendencies. Mackinnon is way too selfish. The guy doesnt know what a pass is. Ironic he leads the league in assists. Feel like he wants that glory himself at times. Needs to look around once in a while.

MacKinnon is superbly talented almost to a fault. You have Connor McDavid streaking down the wing and you won't even look at him. Silly. And probably not something Cooper is used to seeing.

Binnington does have a bizarre style. Don't like it particularly... but he came out huge with at least 2 or 3 big saves while it was 3-3.

Mackinnon played well in regulation, he definitely got tunnel vision in OT though. I doubt they had time to practice much 3on3 in the limited time leading up to this game either. He and McDavid along with Makar should be almost unstoppable in OT with some practice and chemistry in theory.

That was some exciting hockey. I ragged on this tourney being pointless but I’ll be watching this for sure. What an exciting ot that was. It definitely felt like the players really are bringing the intensity.

Dunno what MacKinnon's approach usually is in OT but yea McDavid is waaaay more patient than that. He'll hold the puck for 2 minutes looking for the perfect play, Mac didn't seem interested in that.
