Is to be expected. Swedish NT coaches, and 3v3/4v4 go together like Kalles and lingonberry. You should play skilled players, but they choose Loui Eriksson, & Viktor Lööv instead.

The fact that Garpenlöv sent him home and broke up the Skellefteå line (which was the best line) is laughable to be honest.

We are playing against Denmark and whining that there are not enough NHLers on the team. Can't beat Lauridsen bros and Morten Madsen, we need Hedman and Backstrom to do it!I mean Lundeström is our 1c.. Not sure what the thought was there
You could probably pick a bunch of centers from the euro leagues who are a better fit to play top line center. Maybe he has improved a lot but his point totals in NHL doesn't really suggest it.

Yep, there is too much faith put in players just because they play in the NHL. Lundeström is a fringe NHLer presently, that is about the level of the top players in Euro leagues and they are coming from seasons were they are used to playing top line minutes and carrying the team.

Thing is, the replacements are... Less than ideal too. There's nobody on this roster that should ever be anywhere close to 1C on a Swedish NT.I mean Lundeström is our 1c.. Not sure what the thought was there

WHAT THE HELL is Tömmernes doing out there 6 on 5 as the QB?! Lundkvist was wide open for a shot 3-4 times and he didn't pass it ONCE.
Total fiasco. Garbage team. Send home half the team and the clown coach, we can play with 3 lines and 2 defensive pairings and probably do better.

Denmark deserved it at the end. Two blatant penalties not called with the empty better on Sweden.

Yeeeees. Finally Denmark managed to beat Sweden at the World Championships. I approve!

I'm starting to worry that we might not even qualify for the quaterfinals. Russia and Czech Republic are for sure better teams than us and Switzerland is not far behind. And now we lose to Denmark. Could very well be that Russia, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Denmark or Slovakia finishes above us.
Our centers are real problem. Neither Lundeström nor Holmberg looked good, and Lindholm, Rasmussen and Wingerli are not really top-6 centers. And the defense was as bad as advertised, Lööv, ufhh what a horrible game. At least Nils Lundqvist looks like a future NHLer.
