BÃ…G should have keept his mouth shut. But the pressure might also unit the team.
 
The Swiss may have a outside chance if Sweden has trouble finding their form after their "sunday skate" last night and Gerber plays the game of his life. But I predict Sweden will win quite easily. 4-1 Sweden

Yeah that really dumb. I hope so, but I still don't like it. You know how "popular" Three Crowns were last time they lost in the QF.

Anyone who knows some changes in the team for this game? I want to see Hedström!!
 
About the game.
I hope to see the real team SWE today.
I hope to see the skills they possess.
I hope to be able to enjoy great clean hockey.
I expect to see great goaltending.
I expect only a few goals, but

I think that if it's still 0-0 after the
first period, the mental strenght of
team SWE is tested. I'd say the team
scoring first gets quite an advantage
in this game.

My prediction is 2-2 after regular time.

Anything worse than 4-1 to Sweden would make me disappointed. This is the time to get things going, more speed better defensive play and get more shots to the net.
 
I hope BÅG starts giving Öhlund and Lidström the ice time they need and deserve. Give them at least 25 mins today and in all situations. Time to play to our strengths.
 
Anyone have the swedish lineup for this game?

Hopefully there will be some changes, Foppa and Sundin line was brutal yesterday.

Yeah after this game there will be atleast 44 hrs between games. Nobody on team Sweden have been forced to carry their weight yet. Lidas should get 28 minutes. The same with Sundin, Forsberg and Z. The Sedins shouls only get 5-6 minutes.

Yes, they have been great. And I also think it's time to demote Modin to the 3rd or 4th line.

Yes, this is the time to give the players who deserve ice time the ice time they deserve.

Lidström non stop in PP, Holmström in PP as much as possible. Modin has been awful the whole tournament, the Sedins rather invisible.

After reading the lineups, FINALLY Z doesn't have to drag jönsen (Jönsson, "jönsen" means "the dork" in Swedish) along. Having the best playmaker in the world instead is quite a boost. :D

Update: 1h 35 min left. I can't wait.

Is there anyone other than me that think Modin has done absolutly nothing so far in the tournament? Stick him with the Sedins and give them a few shifts per period.
 
Can't understand why Foppa isn't paired up with Alfie. Today I really hope that we don't have to see J.J on the PP and that Holmström takes Modin's place on our #1 PP unit.

Finally some good lines.

I say 5-1 Swedes. No messing around this time.
 
Sweden 2-1 in OT.

Some unhappy faces on the swedish team, especially the lower line players. Team chemistry and motivation at an alltime low, but they still manage to win.

Goals:

Alfie
Zetterberg lifted to a higher line.


Since the swedes can't really use the optimal version of Zetts, can we get him? :D
 
Please Sweden, pelt very undeserved starting goalie Aebischer with alot of shots and crush him. I would like David to face 60+ shots and a 10-0 win for Sweden.
