Ekberg to 1st line, Wozniak to third. Wozniak doesnt impress me in the NT shirt, its just Björck and Frondell doing the heavy work and Wozniak just skating around unfortunely. Wozniak maybe can improve his game if he plays with teammates below/at his level. Making him the star and driver of the line.

D looks alright tbh, not so worrying.

f***. Forgot about that. So typical. And Another possible negative thing is the broadcast, would not be surprised if only the Final will be available to watch. Sigh.

I can see Björck being our top producer even with or without Frondell this U18. He was maybe the best Swede in the recent tourney

With Frondell

Atleast try the Stenberg Frondell Björck line for the pre tourney games. If they dont click just move Wozniak to first line but on paper that line should be very dangerous.

Felix Färhammar, 6'1 defensman from Örebro J20 is a option, he's been paired with Hallquisth in the playoffs, Hallquisth for me is a lock for the final team.

Looks like we are gonna miss out not only on Frondell but Stenberg aswell.

What if Brynäs, Skellefteå, Luleå, Dif wanna keep Klingsell, Wozniak, Björck, Nilson and Hillström as black aces in playoffs? Then it will look really dark for us. And Whats the status with CHL playoffs? We might not even get Ekberg either.

Ekberg's team Ottawa 67's didnt make the playoffs, so he's available. Sascha Boumedienne will also be available since NCAA Frozen Four is 10-12 april.

It seems likely we will be without Stenberg and Frondell, atleast at the beginning of the tourney.

Looking at forwards, this is the strongest Swedish U18 team in a long, long time. Insane depth to be honest. Even if the top two forwards, Ivar Stenberg and Anton Frondell, miss the tourney due to the ongoing playoffs, there will still be plenty of firepower.

Defense is okay. Personally, glad Dahlqvist is not on the roster. Definitely not a fan of his game The top 5 D look really strong and should be potential second or third round picks all of them.

Wonder who will be the starter. Based on history, Härenstam, but Goos has imo performed the best with the national team.

Nilsson ahead of Hillström is a weird one.

And i hate that we brought Brongel. We dont need him. We should let Norway have him. He would be their best D. Jerk move by us.

Lol yeah, and its not like he is destined to be the next Quinn Hughes. Otherwise i could understand the federation stealing him.. Btw Norway has released their squad and their attack looks fun. Aaram-Olsen, Eriksen, Luc Koblar and Kjolmoen to name 4. They are in a interesting group too

In fact he is nothing more than 7th d on this team. Wahlund/Lindgren/Dahlqvist are probably better than him and should have made it over him.

Regarding Norways team, they had Steen, Solberg, Nygård, Vesterheim and still did not go well. The problem with Norway is their depth. They have 4-5 really good players the rest is very mediocre.
