WJA challenge

Stenberg - Gästrin - Klingsell
Wozniak - Frondell - Björck
Drott - Nilson - Hermansson
Novotny - Genborg - Stockselius

Vass - Annborn
Lindgren - Elofsson
Sjöström - Funck
Wahlund

Härenstam

Elofsson has 5+6 in J20 so far, better stats than all 07 defencemen i think. Hermansson is skilled and has been good with Örebro and U17 NT, more skilled than Wozniak

So, most notable omissions

Milton Gästrin
Viggo Björck
Sascha Boumedienne

::: Gästrin has to be injured, right?

Will be interesting to see what'll happen witb the lineup with Gästrin out, something like this sounds fun:

Stenberg - Frondell - Klingsell
Ekberg - Ihs Wozniak - Stockselius
Genborg - Nilson - Novotny
Skarby - Jennersjö - Drott

Vass - Annborn
Lindgren - Wahlund
Sjöström - Hallquisth

Härenstam

Would have liked to see ABL in the D. Also, Anderberg is a weird choice.

Too bad the tourney takes place in USA, meaning bad time schedule for us europeans.

Gustafsson?

Tollefsen will probably make the U16 team next year, if he doesnt go and choose Norway instead. Btw we ''lost'' Cutter Gauthier, a 5th overall NHL pick to USA. Born in Skellefteå.
He could choose Norway... Until IIHF tournaments are in play. Same with Cutter & Sweden.

I don't think he will choose Norway if he is selected for "tre kronor". It is much more resources in Swedish icehockey. If they make team Sweden they tend to go for it.

The list of "naturalized" Norwegian players that chose Sweden have grown the later years.

All of this players could have been interesting for us, and Norway's NT:

Felix Unger Sörum - Stats, Contract, Salary & More
Axel Brøngel-Larsson - Stats, Contract, Salary & More
Philip Tollefsen - Stats, Contract, Salary & More
Markus Skröder - Stats, Contract, Salary & More

Skröder and Hedlund never played for Sweden. Hedlund might play for Switzerland. And it seems P Tollefsen lived his whole life in Sweden.

you have some interesting players on the way, Aaram-Olsen brothers, Backlund, Myhre and Eriksen. Tollefsen too if he chooses Norway. U never know

Looks like Nilson's taking Gästrin's spot on that line, and seamlessly at that.
Did not watch, but I'm not surprised. Gästrin is great in transition, but Nilsson is a sick player overall. Both should be a great combination with an offensive force like Stenberg. Klingsell has generally been better on team Sweden than in Skellefteå as well, so there is that too.

Well, Klingsell doesn't have to play for Skellefteå J20, so of course he'll play way better.

Absolutely, but I remember thinking this at times in previous years as well. There has been multiple times he played better internationally than where I saw him before..
