With the horrible goaltending minny has I'm sure weber keith and friends would have a horrible plus minus there as well

he's been absolute garbage all game, not to mention playing dirty because he's getting schooled.

The worst defenseman in the league doesn't play 29.35 minutes per night. He's actually one of the best in the league. Try give any other Wild defenseman that icetime and it's gonna be a lot uglier.

Same thing tends to happen to Dion Phaneuf. When one defenseman is expected to do all the heavy lifting, it tends not to go so well..

Goaltenders can make almost any dman look good.

Suter is a very good dman, but he doesn't look that good because his goaltender sucks. Whether he plays good, or bad their ****** goalies will give up at least 3.

It's also why I wouldn't trade Price for him and people called me crazy...

Just watching the highlights it's obvious that the goalies are making him look worse

To NYI- Suter

To Min- Strait

You get to rid your selves of the worst defenseman and the Isles get rid of the 2nd worst defenseman

Suddenly losing your dad, mumps, playing 30 plus minutes a night, and horrifying goaltending may have something to do with it. He was great last year and I'm sure will rebound next season.

How many Suter and Parise threads can we get on the front page tonight?

Probably. It's not about bad luck either, he's making defensive mistakes all over the ice. -23 in past 20 games.

I haven't seen enough of the Wild yet but some of you guys are talking about the goalies fault, yeah maybe for the stat but the OP is saying he's making mistakes aswell.

Have only seen a few Wild games this season, but are the minutes taking too much of a toll on his game? He seems to be trying to do a bit too much in the little I've seen, but not sure if that's representative of his overall play.

They are taking a toll. It doesn't help that we have gone most of the season without our top 4 intact, but Yeo leaves him out their for EVERY situation. If you're d-man #3 or lower, good luck getting ice time on a PP. He's had the mumps and looks tired. He's being way over used at this point.

He's being completely burned out. Leading the league in ice time and playing all those huge minutes hard isn't exactly easy on the body. Not to mention the Wild are getting horrendous goaltending right now.
