I completely forgot about that. The best part is it looks nothing like him and they made it extra flattering

This season is actually kind of awesome. Had that great Rome boot episode, a few other complete blindsides, and then Operation Italy, which was still having ramifications into the vote at 5. Sam and Genevieve almost backed into a plan that could have at the very least caused vote drama. They had Teeny, Rachel, and Sue, as Teeny said, spun all around.

Sam is over here trying to blow up Genevieve's game by outing her idol as fake, but because of how great Operation Italy was the three of them are scared that he is lying, that the idol is real, and they are just trying to get them to put votes on her so she can use the idol and they'll both be safe. The lies were so good they couldn't believe anything they said.

Meanwhile, Sam and Genevieve vote for each other. If they followed through with the plan they didn't know they were doing they could have thrown 2 votes on Teeny. Pretty sure that still ends with Genevieve going home on a 2-2-1 revote, but that could have been some nice drama. Instead Sam was focused on getting out someone he thinks he can't beat in the finals, which is the smart move. His best chance of winning is if Teeny and Sue are sitting next to him and I think he is self aware enough to realize it.

Have to think the finals will include both Rachel and Sam. I have 0 confidence Teeny or Sue win final immunity, which means one of Rachel or Sam is in the final 3. Have to imagine either of them would beat Teeny or Sue in making fire, too. So the only way we'd get both Teeny and Sue in finals is if Rachel or Sam decide their best route to winning is to make the other to go fire against them.

Sam would need to think he is losing if Rachel makes it to the final 3 anyway, so he'd rather try to take her out. Can't beat her if she is there, so might as well go down trying to get her out.

I don't see Rachel thinking she needs to make the same decision.

Absolutely agreed. And the awesome name cements its spot too. And to think, this all came from the mind of a guy who blew a gasket episode 1 and looked like a first boot.

Absolutely agreed. People who analyze edits have been predicting Rachel to win for a long time now. I think it’s kind of sad that people have figured out a formula on how to know who wins a season by the halfway point lol.

I didn't think that Rachel was going to win until Kyle was voted out, he was the most deserving and looked like he could win, his social game is what hurt him. Anyways when he was gone I thought that it was either Andy or Rachel, Andy started to play the game, but the jury hated him.

Rachel could also fall into Fallen Angel category if she goes at fire tonight. Sometimes the dominant story of a season isn't why someone won, but rather why someone lost such as HvV's, Samoa, 43, etc.

I feel like it’s nearly impossible for anyone but Rachel or Sam to win. I agree about Rachel though. Wouldn’t be shocked to see it all go against her.

yeah, like there are obvious patterns you can pick-up on, if you've seen every season. But, they do throw curveballs occasionally. I do agree it is hard to see a scenario where on of Teeny or Sue win, but I feel you don't even need to understand Edgic to figure that out. I personally, I'm not a big fan of over-analyzing edgic, although, there are obvious patterns to people who've watched for years.

Adding my thoughts before the finale tonight.

I’m going to echo what pretty much everyone else has said. Very likely Rachel wins. If she gets to the final 3, it’s over.

I think she’s getting overrated by a lot of people saying she’s some legendary player. She’s had a few really good weeks post merge, but she didn’t play any sort of dominating game throughout and even post merge she’s looked pretty bad at times. Good player. Don’t feel she’s all that close to any sort of Survivor legend. Of recent females, Dee was better.

If she somehow doesn’t make the final 3, Sam wins. I just don’t see how the other two win. It’d be ridiculous. Neither has remotely played the game.

A shame that Andy and Genevieve were the most recent two voted out. Survivor needs to find a way to start getting final 3’s with the best contestants as opposed to wallpaper like Sue and Tiny being dragged to the final 3.

I really liked the game Genevieve played. Hope they bring her back. She’s like the actual new school Parvati. Maybe didn’t have the flirting aspect that Parvati used (and didn’t win), but she scared people with her looks and that she’s legitimately smart and playing the game. A shame she didn’t make it past 5. I liked her game more than Rachel, in all honesty.
