I do not entirely understand why the player 4th in Calder Voting this year would be eligible but he is a pretty clear 2nd to me on this list (really should be third behind the 1 and 1A).

I never wanted to lose the numbers of the original list, but also wanted to allow room to fit him on either side of Kakko.

#2 and really has a strong case for 1A.

I put him 1A, not because I don’t think Kakko can become a legit, 1st line star, but because to me, Fox is already a top pairing defenseman and will be a #1D in no time. I wish he had some more size or speed, but I still think he’ll be a top 5-10 D in the league pretty consistently, whereas Kakko is more of a risk. But if Kakko does hit his potential, he’ll be at or a bit above Fox’s level.
