I still don't understand how Ylonen asked to not get a QO so he could find another team then chose a much deeper team. Like bro, if you can't crack the Habs, how are you going to crack the team that recently made the finals 3 years in a row? I know Tampa's depth is gutted and all but Ylonen doesn't have the skillset to play fourth line.

Ylonen has hands and that's about it. Sad cause he shown cool flashes with the Habs. Let's see how he does when he gets a chance in Smashville.

Trotz adding skill while getting younger? That's uncharacteristic, even if Ylönen isn't an NHL player.

I somehow didn't even register that Ylonen was with Tampa in the first place. Seemed like he showed a few little flashes with the Habs at one point, but has that profile of a sort of "all hands, nothing else" NHL/AHL "tweener", unfortunately. All skill, not much else...but not impactful enough with that skill to really secure a Top-6 role, and not a game particularly well suited to a Bottom-6 role. Obviously Nashville not really wagering a lot on him here though, so i guess...might as well keep running fringe guys through hoping one finally hits.

Ylonen was a stud for my NHL 18 (I think?) Franchise Mode custom Seattle expansion side ...

Angello has been a serviceable "big galoot" for Milwaukee for a while, sort of like in the way Michael McCarron is for the Preds? But it sounds like Ylonen is the more skilled player, and I do believe Milwaukee is making a push to compete for the Calder Cup this year. So whether Ylonen ever suits up for Nashville or not (seems unlikely, but who knows how many guys ultimately get shut down or traded during the tank), it's still a win for Milwaukee's run. :dunno:

Angello is listed as 6'5"/209 lbs (per Elite Prospects), and can play a bit. Seems like the guy to suit up for games against the Panthers, Caps, or Bruins.
