I hate to be the only one here that think this looks terrible. I dunno who some of these characters are but they look horrible.

Super Hero movies are kinda getting old now, Ill watch this one day when it comes to streaming services.
I do think we are at a saturation point. But, the core ones for DC should still do well with a solid story. Means, no more Shazam/Blue Beetle level characters. Same with Marvel. You saw it with Sony's spiderverse with Morbius/Kraven/Madame Web. Box office flops.

I give Gunn the benefit of the doubt considering how well he was able to handle multiple characters in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

The one thing I like from that slip is that Gunn has brought back the humour that were in the Reeves movies. Dark Knight was always suppose to be dark. But Superman always had a sense of humour that I think the last 20 years of superman have lacked

I agree. Zack Snyder and his corny fixation on darkness always was a bad choice for Superman.

It looks good. Perfect? No. More good than bad.

It's going to be fun seeing Guy Gardner hopefully a full prick and the other heroes in this.

I think it'll be done balanced where it's still mostly a Superman movie.

A lot of people pissed about Cavill not being in it might be the only time an actor who never made a good movie playing a character are upset.

But did he need SUPERDOG!!!!!

and the Green Lantern? He maybe tossing too much against the wall too soon
Guy Gardner is a very different kind of Green Lantern.

There's so much money to be made from the X-Men franchise. X-Men 97 did very well. It's a pride thing for Marvel because they didn't own the film rights and they hate that one man's (Chris Claremont) stories are still essentially the peak of their line.

They're not using the right characters and there's massive oversaturation.

It's so funny how if you look at Snyder and Schumacher's careers, both got to superhero films yet one is considered a legend (Snyder) while the other people roll their eyes at (Schumacher) yet Joel actually had mostly good films, while Zack's two successes in Watchmen and 300 seem more like outliers.
