WR is fine.

Rice will be back and he was off to a super elite start. He'll have his suspension but that will probably be a max of 4 games.

Worthy really showed what he can do in the latter part of the season, so their top 2 positions are pretty set.

As for TE, Kelce is definitely declining but still top 5 as far as TE go. Noah Gray looked pretty good this year though. I think the Chiefs would be fine with him as TE1 if they had to.

I don't think cutting Thuney to keep Smith makes a lick of sense though. I know Smith is younger, but Thuney is way better. If they could trade Thuney then that would be great, as they'd get some draft capital, but cutting him doesn't work.

Ultimately that Taylor contract blows. He's a below average player and among the highest paid at his position. That really sucks. It was a gamble that did not pay off.
KC needs someone to step up into the Hill/Kelce go to guy pass catcher.
Gray/Wiley can be solid at TE, but no longer in that top 5 TE group without Kelce's production (prior to this past season).

Thuney is 32, so you'd only get back a day 3 pick, likely in round 5 for him. KC will only keep 1 of their OG. Smith is more the long game play, but agreed, Thuney is better. 1 year left (non guaranteed for him) at $15.5 mill in real money, but have to eat $11 mill in prior payment cap charges, which is why he's a $27 mill cap charge for 25 season. Likely add a void year to his deal to push a chunk of his base salary into future years and bring his 25 season cap hit down to under $20 mill.

Taylor had his 25 season base salary of $19 mill guaranteed in March 24. It was one of those vesting deals. So, they are stuck with his cap charge. No way they are able to trade him. No team is paying him $19 mill.

KC has 4 picks in the first 3 rounds to get a couple of starters. Not getting much from their 1st from 23 the DE Felix A-U or from their 2nd round OT from 24 draft. Need them to step up in 25 season.

This is what happens when the half time show is awarded to a guy thanks to one song.

The song is beyond played out for one and he has to censor himself so the song loses it's bite.

I came here to read the retirement home takes about the halftime show (very entertaining, thanks all who participated), and this one is the funniest I've seen so far. Bravo

Watched The interviews after the game. Hurts didn't seem too excited about winning the SB nor MVP, His players around him were jumping with joy but he just sat stoic through the interviews.

What's crazy is that this SB was always going to be a massacre against ANY AFC team. The Ravens probably had the most capable roster to go toe to toe with the Eagles but the Ravens are also the best team in the league at punching themselves in the nuts.
nah, the eagles would've beaten the ravens with ease just like they did in the RS. no one was beating that defense

Eagles will probably go back to back tbh. That team is loaded.
Overall, the biggest change on O is likely to let Becton go, since he'd want to capitalize on his strong season. Had Steen their 3rd rounder in 24 play some this season, so move him into the starting role. Likely the only major change on O. Just going to add depth to the O.

Defence is where the changes are likely. Baun and Williams are free agents. Probably have to make decisions to move off Slay/Bradberry thus absorb dead cap charges. Same with Graham who should retire. Figure they concentrate on D in the draft for 2 of their top 3 picks.

I don't know they remind me a lot of the Legion of Boom Seahawks who I also thought would win at least 3 or 4 and see how that turned out.
Players get paid. But, Seattle did a poor job drafting/developing after the LOB prime years. Minimal hits once they turned over the OL from their SB win. Britt, Ifedi, Pocic. Britt was to be a RT, but ended up at C, where he was solid for them. Didn't add any play makers. Miscalculated on a TE Graham with a short Wilson who didn't throw over the middle on time. Needed a WR threat on the outside which is where Wilson made his career on.

Never developed any further Pass Rushers once the group of Mebane, Clemons, Avril, Bennett, aged. Same with LB and Secondary.

They probably know Williams is gone. Baun is the important one to keep. We’ll see if Sweat stays, but a big reason the eagles were as good as they are is because they finally identified talent in places they had been failing at before in the defensive backfield. Baun, Mitchell, DeJean.

He just has that demeanor about him that’s very compartmentalized. He will very much take his glory in making everyone else eat shit now that he’s won. Very Jordan-like. Except he didn’t imagine most of it.

Sweatt is 27 and spent his full 7 year career in Philly. Made $40 mill to date. This is his shot at a big contract, so I'm guessing he needs to get paid. What that number is, I don't know. He's not an elite player, but a good #2 DE. Roseman isn't afraid to add or subtract players. But, at first glance, I do expect the D to turnover a bit.

Eagles are the class of the league tbh. Howie is a magician when it comes to roster building, utilizing the cap and making trades.

Siranni is a good CEO coach who knows how to hire OC/DCs
Sirianni didn’t hire any of his coordinators. Major reason why he survived last year.

I doubt Fangio leaves for another job, he was trying to be closer to home before taking the dolphins job
He wouldn't leave for another DC job IMO. But, I don't see him getting a HC job, similar to Spags who are both in their mid 60's now.
