Kelce retiring might actually help the Chiefs.

He's still good, but not indispensibly good like he used to be.

NFC East plays north and afc west.
Their first place games are vs bills, Rams, and Bucs.

Bills is the clear better opponent than what the rest of the east will get. SF can rebound plus Atl either way Penix might be better than TB. That’s what 3rd and 2nd get.

He could redo his deal since he has minimal dead money and it’s not guaranteed. But to take a pay cut, he might just opt to pursue other opportunities instead. But he’s also Pat’s go to guy.

Someone needs to step up and take that role.

They need LT more than Kelce at this point. It's would be nice to have both though obviously.

I'll take the victory though.
 
Now that this is over, it's going to crystalize just how much the Eagles were better than anyone else. The results are out there, only one team was ever winning this Super Bowl provided they stayed healthy.

Only game they lost since the bye, Hurts left the game, and still should've won, blew them out 2 weeks ago.

Blew out the Bengals when their offense was heating up

Blew out the Rams on the road.

Ran the Ravens and someone people think should've been the MVP off their own field.

The Steelers ran 11 plays in the 2nd half of that game. 11. 2 drives.

Now they blow out the 2-time defending champions that shouldn't have been half as close as it was on the scoreboard. The Eagles should've won this game by 40.


Obviously they didn't get to play the Bills or Lions, but they weren't going to win either. They just weren't. The only chance anybody had they needed a blizzard to pass through.

The way pro football is in this generation, it's completely absurd how much better one team was than anyone else considering that they don't have a QB anyone would consider Top 5.

Luck of the draw to get all the tough games on the road. But, main goal is to win the division. Wash plays the same ones except they get Seattle, Atlanta and Miami.

At this stage Kelce is slowing down. Probably not worth it to play for less money which would be more commensurate with his production.
Not when other opportunities exist for him. Plus his personal life.

But KC needs to fill in their holes. Can’t do it all via the draft. They went WR and OT last draft early and worth is a gadget guy vs deep threat right now. OT could not play well enough to start.

If your whole shtick is how one player will hold a team back from winning a Super Bowl and that player is the current Super Bowl MVP, you’re not showing your face any time soon, you and I have been here long enough to know how that works.
 
Vic Fangio - another one. Huge part coaching the dome patrol as linebackers coach that never won a playoff game. Got bad mouthed by Dolphins players last year. Got a second chance at a Super Bowl here. And his big free agent signing was a huge bust that he wasn’t afraid to put on ice. Bryce Huff was deactivated for this game.

It's been an emotional week. I'm so drunk and trying to think of another team in purple other than the Ravens and I can't 😂. Milton is probably gone though just resign Baun. I was at the game in Seattle about 14 months ago where they let let Drew Lock go 97 yards to win the game. What a difference a season makes.
