Joel Määttä actually said in recent interview that Mikko Koivu was his idol when he was younger, and later Adam Lowry. I really respect younger players who look up to some solid 2way players instead of the top3 scorers in the NHL. Ofc nothing wrong with idolizing superstars, but i just find it really refreshing hearing the "out of the box" answers when asked about idols growing up.

The puck moving is indeed impressive, but Slovakia seems to focus on blocking the shooting lanes a lot. Will be nice to see how the passing is on PP against team Canada, since they will be way more aggressive and there won't be this much time.
