Way better game than I expected. Way too many missed opportunities for Canada, but I didn't even expect us to get any so really intriguing team.

2-0 loss by Canada to Argentina. It could have been a lot worse, too, but Crepeau was amazing.

Overall a fun match. Argentina really controlled the final 20 minutes, but Canada looked better than they did during the World Cup.

There are 3 games tomorrow for Euro 24:
9 a.m.: Slovakia vs Ukraine
12 p.m.: Poland vs Austria
3 p.m.: France vs The Netherlands (Mbappe is not expected to play)
Only one game for Copa America tomorrow:
Peru vs Chile at 7 p.m.
Both are in Canada's Division.

They've looked relatively good against three juggernauts - except for that second half vs the dutch.
In this type of game vs a crowd, the best team in the world and a cowed Ref they needed to be clinical and missed some great chances.
That's the game. They looked a little overwhelmed in the first 20 minutes but that's to be expected.
The speed of execution has to increase and they can't play David with Larin - not enough pace.
I couldn't believe the way Argentina worked the ref and the amount of tripping and shirt holding their backline gets away with.
Buchanan looked awful. Crepeau and Bombito played very well.
I think with experience and more players migrating to top 5 leagues in europe, Canada can eventually hang in the top 25-30 of FIFA.
