Oh man, the last half of Mexico-Ecuador was insane. Ecuador was time wasting as much as possible.
The guy who gave up the penalty kick to Mexico looked absolutely devastated and was about to cry. Then when VAR showed it wasn't a penalty, he looked absolutely relieved and was about to cry.
Mexico had chances and control. They just couldn't score.
0-0 draw puts Ecuador through. Venezuela beat Jamaica 3-0 to top that group.

9 p.m.: Bolivia vs Panama
Panama and USA are tied in points, but Panama won the head-to-head. USA needs a win.
They would go through with a draw if Panama loses to Bolivia, but considering Bolivia is 0-2, and has a -7 goal differential I wouldn't exactly count on that.
If USA & Bolivia win then there's a 3-way tie, and goal differential will come into play. Currently, Uruguay and USA have that over Panama. That can definitely change depending on how much Panama can beat Bolivia by.

Yeah, it is. Usually you don't want group pairings matching up later, but that's what they did with the brackets.
Argentina ends up with Ecuador, and Venezuela plays Canada, but Uruguay is going to end up with one of Colombia or Brazil in the quarters.

Yeah well 2nd half is all France going forward. This goal was about to happen anytime soon. Belgium still got their scoring chances though
