Sergio Gomez would be quite an interesting shout. Think he’d be very good as backup.

Also (with a pinch of salt)twitter rumors are linking villa with a move for Richarlison. Don’t think there’s a chance of that and wouldn’t be my first choice either

Not sure why they are looking that hard at a LB? They brought Digne in for a decent price in January to be the starter. If they are looking for a backup it probably means Newcastle is gonna buy Targett and if they do it'll probably be for 15-20 and Hickey is only gonna cost 25 so not sure how he'll be too expensive?

Hickey shouldn't be going to Villa, they have Digne, or Arsenal, they have Tierney when healthy, he should be going to Brentford. Clear opening to be the starter and they play a positive brand of football. Kill it there for a year or two then move to a top club who's bringing you in to start.

Its more of getting an understudy for Digne as we don’t have any cover there really (A. Young is out of contract iirc). Lots wanted Hickey over the Jan period but wasn’t going to happen for obvious reasons. Now I think it’s “too expensive” for someone to come in as a backup LB/RB.

I agree, Brentford might be a place but they do have Rico Henry

Pool needs to do everything to get Salah re-signed. The can't replace both him and Mane this Summer.

They don't need to replace Salah this summer. He's already said he's staying next season, and its pretty obvious Liverpool aren't going to break their wage structure for a 31 year old, so he'll be leaving on a free next summer. They already brought in Diaz to replace Mane on the left.

There's no incentive to sell him unless we get a lot of money lol

Yeah, but its Negotiation 101. "Oh, you're desperate for cash right now? Here's half of what you're asking for, take it or leave it"

Same reason why loan sharks charge twelvety billion percent. Same reason why Barca are trying to mortgage their future earnings for an immediate cash infusion.

Agreed, he’s much too good for a small time club like Chelsea to be able to lure him.

Luckily for you, Kai wasn’t as established as Nkunku when he left or you wouldn’t have had a chance at him either.

"as established as Nkunku"

LMAOOOOOOOOOO

Havertz was a top talent since he was a teen, was a golden boy and had generational stats for his age group. He's also 2 years younger than your player and could retire today and it would eclipse anything Nkunku can or will ever do in his career.

Literally a world class generational talent that could have went anywhere he wanted in the world.

Won us the champions league as well :')

Please do not compare him to Nkaka LMAO that's so disrespectful and you know that.

Attacking one of your own to get a 1-up. Shameful behavior from an RBFeederClub fan.

Also Timo played massive minutes in a CL winning campaign and caused chaos with his movement alone. He's slander free from me forever.

We're a better team with Werner on the pitch, finishing struggles included.

You are worse than AFTV or whatever that shitty homer Arsenal network is.

Which is why I'm completely fine getting someone like Raheem Sterling in if Werner does end up going to Bayern or something. His pace and pressing in Tuchel's system is irreplaceable.

Sterling could provide a more talented rendition, and is even more skilled with the ball at his feet.

It was Timo's run in the CL final that spread the field wide open for King Kai.

Yea yea yea. Chelsea is a "small club" and can't pull Nkunku. Don't care. Feel free not to quote me ManUre fan.

This is just beautiful

From the implication that I’m a Leipzig fan, to your attempt to tell me about a player I had been watching & hyping for years before you had even heard of him, to the complete misunderstanding of what it means for a player to be more established. *chef’s kiss*

I honestly couldn’t do a better parody of an ignorant EPL fan if I tried.

Thus is why I couldn’t understand why you spent so much on a backup striker last summer :sarcasm:

You can take these ridiculously lame dunk attempts to reddit.

You were the one getting defensive that I don't like Nkunku as a player and then proceeded to attack Havertz, Werner and then Chelsea as a club.

Maybe try using whatever ball knowledge you have to make a point instead of getting emotional and then trying to save face from complete strangers who do not know you.

You still have yet to make a singular football point whatsoever.

I made a general statement about how I didn't like Chelsea's rumored summer targets including Nkunku, Jonathan David and Nunez and you made a silly funny emotional retort about how Chelsea are too small to sign him anyways.

Is your thread polluting haha funny man act finished?

I still don't rate him, thanks.

But I want to keep him!

Buddy might give SEPH a run for his money
You know I thought one of the other Arsenal fans was bad but at least he backed it up with facts and had actual ideas. Just a little far fetched ideas but I have since grown to love him and love to banter with him. This guy is just HEY MY CLUB IS THE BEST AND THE REST OF YALL SUCK

On an unrelated note, @bluesfan94 another signing!
