How can a fan unsettle a player? Much less a messaging board. Can halaand even read English lol get real.

Sancho said that the whole situation unsettled him. I'm sure it's unsettling to read your social media and everything you see is related to a hypothetical transfer that you aren't agitating for.

Haaland speaks pretty good English. He might've even lived in England during his early years.

Are you kidding? I can't believe you're suggesting that having an adverse reaction to this stuff is a bad thing. And Man United fans absolutely didn't like the Pogba stuff, which is on a lower scale. It's one player and one that publicly asked for a move away.
I mean I will again go back to, I'm not sure what you expected? This happens every time BVB gets an elite player. The club moves them on for huge profit and they find the next player to develop. If there wasn't such a precedent it wouldn't be such a big, but because it is people are going to consistently talk about the rumors that come up when City, Real, and Barca are after Haaland. It is what it is.

yea the part where he wanted to move and didn’t get his move bc Dortmund decided August 7th was the deadline in a window that closed in October.

Oh yeah, Madrid still in it to win it! Go get 'em! Holla Madrid!

Great. Much appreciated. Now we don't have to sign you. Tell him where to go Joan.

@Evilo there have been stories over the past few weeks that Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Monaco's Aurelien Tchouameni. My impression is that he's been pretty crucial for Monaco's regeneration this year. What's your take? I find it a little confusing that Chelsea would be looking abroad for midfielders, given our enormous logjam there already and the couple of guys out on loan who all, I think, deserve a shot.

He's been amazing. His duo with Fofana is extremely impressive. Lots of people are asking DD to select him for the senior NT. For now he's at the U21 level.
I think it's fair to say he's been a top 3 midfielder in L1 this year.

Cheers. Decent style fit? Long term replacement for Kante, perhaps? Or different mould of player

Frankly you don't want me to say this... but he's not far from Bakayoko style wise. Is impossible to go through, but can break lines with ease.
I know Chelsea never had the best version of Bakayoko.

L'Equipe says Tottenham wants Mike Maignan...
Few things :
1/ Lloris out? He's their captain, right?
2/ Every big team should notice Maignan.
3/ And thus he should target a bigger team with a CL campaign.
4/ However, which big team needs a goalie?

How would you compare Maignan vs like Areola or Mesiler

Maignan is a very unique beast.
Areola is a giant guy who can fly and has great reflexes.
Meslier is a defenseman turned goalie. He's not that great on his line but his foot game is great for a goalie.
Maignan is a bit of a mix. He has great reflexes but is also great with his feet (can be incredibly confident/arrogant). He's also possibly the best penalty stopper in the world.

Acting like Haaland and Sancho were bought to become club legends and not sold for premium fees is disingenuous.
I can understand being upset if all this speculation ruins the player's transfer value, but Dortmund is going to be turning a handsome profit.
I mean, the team probably bought them to try and keep them for as long as possible, but also knowing that wouldn't be likely the case. The Sancho is probably the easiest, didn't get any playing time and wanted out yet Man City wouldn't have sold him to any of the other remaining big five clubs. Haaland is more of an example that is playing and has developed way beyond the ability of BVB. Normally the best players in the world find themselves in a Barca/Madrid kit one way or another; just look at Henry, how he was an Arsenal legend, and didn't stay with the club after he joined.

If Jose stays I can tell you that Jose is not going to blame Jose for Spurs short comings. The captain is a perfect target.

“new, winning culture” and all that
