After looking it up, the only accepted accidental high sticks are during a shot (both windup and follow through), or if the opponent bends down on a face off. So this case is indeed still called a high stick.

Always nice to come back. But I miss @duga

And poor second period from Switzerland's point of view, too many mistakes that could be avoided by focusing a bit more and keeping things simple.

Two positives about the second period. The late goal and Schmid gaining more and more confidence as the period went on.

Can't really complain about the score, I wrote I'd be happy with a 3 goal win, but I feel like the score wasn't larger because of Switzerland rather than Britain playing as well as they did against Canada.

Good that Schmid got the shutout though

Yeah, pretty boring game. Far away from the intensity on monday.

But yeah, 11 points, Quarters pretty booked with neiter Norway or Denmark probably able to come to 11 points. Now just prevent to get 4th and face Sweden in the Quarters.

The zug line finally was more than just solid and sound but was actually pretty dangerous, still not impressed by the chemistry of the Jäger like. Hopefully Haas will make it click
