the urge to drink is becoming a go-to response to the frustration of watching this team play.

the vets are bad mentors for the young guys on this team, they got no pride or heart.

I don't mind losing if the effort is there, the effort was there for 20 minutes in the first period, nothing after that I don't get it.

You can't win a game when you don't press, get puck possession, don't check, move your feet and play very lazy defence. Just a pathetic effort overall. I can honestly say each and every player looked like they didn't want to play tonight.

The players are NOT buying in anymore. Something has occurred within this group. Would love to be a fly on the wall in that locker room. In fact would love to tell them how much they act like babies on the ice. Slapping sticks on the ice, boards, glass... what an embarrassment! Don't know what the coaches do at this point or where they go with this group. Ownership cannot be oblivious to this mess. There has to be some accountability and I don't know if that will matter at this point. This organization is cursed I really do believe that...

Pharand -5
Mews -4

There just not good enough at each position. Your number 1 pairing dmen really aren't that compared to other teams in the league. The only legit player they have at any position is Villy. Sad affairs.

To bad Papineau did not see what you see, and he gets paid the big bucks. Starting to really wonder if Barney bit off more than he can chew moving up to this level a little to early.

I think Barney is decent but doesn't have the horses to run the race. Wolves lack overall good talent. They have one legit performer. More holes in the lineup than Swiss cheese. Barney doesn't have much to work with.

RP gets all the blame in my opinion. Poor player evaluation. I think he lost alot of respect over the Musty situation. Musty showed who he was and he convinced him to stay.

Would like to know how much input RP has at this point probably throwing Barney under the bus to Dario and trying to call all the shots. He is in survival mode right now and will point the blame on coaches, players anyone to save his own skin.

Not picking on Street here at all but signing him is all you need to know about RP. Let's try and have higher standards. He tried out for London, was cut. Okay, London is top tier but still, how does he make your team RP? Feel good story sure but, he brings little to the lineup even tho it's limited minutes. He signs a free agent for depth last month who has very little impact.

You send out multiple picks for a dman who struggles in his own end and skating to me, is poor. Why? What element were you looking for from the player when trade was made.

You send an up and coming young D for again multiple picks and a player who doesn't fit what you needed on the back end. Why?

You have Pharhand who gives you very little as a veteran player. Walton, outside if the PP gives you very little as well. You have Musty who coasts getting off the ice on a line changes, and gets a 2 gamer for abusing an official. Excusable. Cares only about himself not team.

I just don't understand RP way of thinking. Always performing patchwork with this Roster. Did he really think adding Mews and Roberts would take this team to the next level. Seriously?

I really hope Dario has contacts in the industry thet he can rely on for feedback and guidance

Get this guy to the curb ASAP.

at this point tank the season, never seen this coming, players are ready to go back home by looks of it.

Not sure how they will stop the bleeding, team captains need to call a players meeting and try to get this team back at least playing respectable.
Alittle late to tank now unfortunately, you gave up a chunk of your picks and weren't able to recoup this year. We get 2 top 30 picks plus another in the top 40 then nothing until 60-80 depending on where Sarnia finishes then nothing until 120 - 140. When before that we gave up another 2 picks one in top 50 and other top 90.

We have 2x 2nds, 1x 4th the 2x 7th to go along with our 1st

Ben Pickell was cut from Barrie 2 years ago, didn’t play last year and this year is fluctuating between the lineup but has been a very good energy role player. Streets job probably isn’t to light it up. Maybe dressing room guy and a guy who will stick up for teammates which is always needed? Just guessing don’t actually know much about the guy.

Last minute go for it move. Again. Never should’ve been done and you never should’ve been going for it has been clear as day since you lost all your guys last year but RP does RP things. Great d man but not the right fit on your team. If he comes back though you’ll get what you paid for him when he gets traded next year. Overpaid on Roberts too.

Team was playing better when he was out. Wonder why 🧐 this is why other teams weren’t going to overpay for the guy who is problematic but I got called crazy from a couple RP lovers on here

All they literally had to do was trade musty this year for a bunch of picks (and could’ve traded Deangelis too if bringing in mews for extra picks and instead of both guys who can run the powerplay) . Send the picks you get from musty to Ottawa in a trade for mews and go for it next year (with Jackson and extra picks- plus a 20 year old Krawchuck who will probably take another small leap)

Krawchuk will be playing NCAA next season, won't be an OA in the OHL. Team is cooked for a season or two. Outside of Blonda, and maybe Henderson, I don't see much offensive upside for any of the young players. Some great bottom 6ers but huge question marks on who will put the puck in the net. No prospects putting up big numbers in competitive leagues either.

How about a more positive post, I know a lot of us have enjoyed watching Henderson this season.

Rowan Henderson 7G 11A 18P

The entirety of the 2024 U18 draft excluding Rowan Henderson: 2G 9A 11P
