Whoever gave McCoy the C needs to have their decision-making ability taken away. Game after game with costly penalties, if that's the teams leadership, no wonder the wolves lead the league in penalties. Just absolutely brutal.

Again another crap post , McCoy has had a couple questionable penalties as of late but to constantly question his captaincy is ridiculous. I’m pretty sure he didn’t ask for it and when a kid in this league is given that opportunity they TRY and make the best out of it. Just really garbage posts when things don’t go our way but I guess that’s what keyboard warriors will do!

Wally is the most improved player and I would go as far to say in the league from last season. I could not agree with you more.

instead of spearing someone, when he had a chance drop the gloves would gain some respect from fans and teammates. Good player no doubt, unmotivated on defensive side of the game, and doesn't use his size to his benefit, still lot to learn.

Fire him now then there's enough cause and you can do a search. You have your head scout run the draft. To say here run our draft and fire him after causes 2 problems, first they are players that the new gm may not have wanted and they are straped to him potentially for 2 seasons with the exception of the 1st rounder. Second if he sees it coming he could do more damage out of spite.

Gaulton went to Espanola instead the cubs a couple of years ago because Moxam felt offended and wanted nothing to do with the Wolves when he took over the cubs. Things have been sorted since but for a year or two our call ups went to espanola instead of the cubs. Our affiliate is now the cubs again after being with them for years. Makes you wonder if Gaultons development was derailed because of being in a weaker organization and that leading season ending injury in his 16 year old season.

He's also confused McCoy and Musty multiple times, which is almost impressive if we're being honest.

Roberts can't fight either, so he can't fight, can't defend, can't handle the puck, why is he in the OHL?

The Rogers TV production truck was stuck in Kitchener due to weather, and the guy doing the play by play was not the regular guy.
He did a pretty good job by himself, all things considered.

Must be banged up on Wednesday and Friday he left part way through the game and was on the bench after leaving those games

100 percent time for him to move on, it hasn't worked with him.

Never is a perfect time but I'm hoping Dario has seen the light and behind the scenes he's making enquiries. As an Owner you need to take charge and make these type of decisions. I mean he's a business owner he must know something about restructuring.

One last thing, Sudbury has some good hockey people but please look elsewhere for your next GM. Dario look outside the box

Just let him sit up in the gonadal and vent on poor Brent how it is everyone's fault but his. Poor Brent has to pretend he is listening to him and keep nodding his head in agreement. Do not let him anywhere near the OHL cup or be involved with any part of the draft. Cut this guy lose and start looking NOW.

No doubt the kid is having a career year. Only questioning thr difference from the 1st half to the 2nd. Big difference. Used to battle and attack and track . Now it's floating and just waiting for opportunities instead of creating them. Kid has a tonne of potential. Just has seemed to have lost something

Well our council is at it again, was listening to pure country this morning and they reported that one of the councilors is putting forward a motion to halt the new arena due to potential tariffs increasing costs maybe 50 million and not liking the pre-approved potential arena management firms because they are US based.

That is normal for council to do, that have got to show they are working for the public interest and are not leaving no stone unturned. The cost of tariffs is nothing to compare to the cost of breaching all the construction contracts, plus all the court cost. I am willing to bet the plan is still on and the work will be completed on time

Yes! If something happens in a game that pisses you off enough that you feel the need the spear someone, the better choice is to drop the gloves. It doesn’t matter if your 6’5” or 5’6”, dropping the gloves proves that you are not a gutless chickens**t and will stand up for yourself and teammates without doing something stupid to hurt the team.

After reading a few of your posts lately, I just have to ask, what is your role with the team? Management? Coaching/Training staff? Parent? Bullet?

Cancelled, they voted down the KED (Kingsway Entertainment District) because councilors were tying it up in courts they final got to being ready to break ground on it. Then a new council came in and voted it doing citing increased cost because of the delays and pandemic. Then order a new report on if they should renovate or building new. The report said the difference would be small and recommended building new.

Time for the coaching staff and Dario to do something fun this week before Fridays game. In the past, they went on a mini retreat, played games on an outside rink, ice fished etc. Players have to refocus and start winning again before seasons end. Not to late.

The 4 biggest needs at the moment are:
1. Get Healthy
2. Commit to Defence- make it a priority that everyone needs to play a 200ft. game.
3. Stay disciplined. Put your Big Boy Hockey pants on and be willing to take a slash, a punch in the face. Take a number and move on for the betterment of the team.
4. Play for the Wolf on the front of your jersey, not the personal stats that will earn you a PRO contract or scholarship. Become a Team. Play for your fans who buy tickets to watch you play or the owner who desperately wants success and pays for the sticks you break needlessly when you have a temporary tantrum displaying your immaturity and selfishness.

LOOK at the BIG PICTURE! It’s not about YOU the player. It’s about the SUDBURY WOLVES and their FAN BASE!

I never seen it spiraling down like this before, hopefully we get Delic, Clayton back.

Agreed. And what has set McCoy off of late? Chasing down Coughlan in penalty minutes at this rate. Something is definitely off on a number of fronts for sure.
