Sudbury Wolves 2024-25 Season Thread, Part III

He's also confused McCoy and Musty multiple times, which is almost impressive if we're being honest.

Roberts can't fight either, so he can't fight, can't defend, can't handle the puck, why is he in the OHL?

How is that not a reviewable hit on Netmetisokov. Horrible officiating once again. If that's McCoy or anyone else we get ejected with a major.

Don't blame the Wolves for making this game an ugly one. Officiating fault for not making a review on that hit.

I say the Wolves just brawl it out. You have nothing to lose now.

100/100 times if one of our players throws the hit that left Henderson on the ice it gets reviewed. Just saying.

Boys gotta get re-focused in a hurry.

Next year if/when they trade Walton, Villeneuve and/or Mews they’ll be stocked with picks and young players and have a bright future and without a doubt be in the right direction for the next few years. If this is the direction they go I predict with the NCAA rumours the first one to go is Mews in the off season probably for a lot of picks.

If they don’t make trades then they'll be mediocre at best not only this year and next but for years to come. Won’t be better than Niagara for sure, Brampton should still be decent if they get martone back(Ivankovic will carry team I’m sure) north bay will take a leap as will Peterborough, Brantford will be good still, Barrie has some good parts to still stay competitive etc. all next year of course

Sudbury Wolves @ OHL - 2024‑2025 Stats

the 19 year olds are the ones that could be leading your team next year. Obvious with Musty he will be gone. Pharand not so sure- maybe 50/50. Lose him though and the OA quality really dips down.

Potential 3 OA’s:

Coughlan, Krawchuck, Giantomasso/Ewles/Roberts/Ziliotto?? I’m sure Molnar won’t be back as an OA/Import

Nowhere near as good as this year with McCoy, Delic and DeAngelis

From watching looked like no ref saw anything illegal, they conference about it, but it's not auto for us getting tossed or Villy would have been gone for his cross check to the face

Do you think they’d go coughlan, ewles and Roberts for the OA’s or would the giantomasso guy knock out one of the d there.

Even weaker OA group than I originally thought. They definitely should be sellers then.

Horrendous call after a great comeback. Either both get a penalty or no one gets a penalty. McCoy has had a few too many if those recently.

Also, will the coaching staff please teach Mews how to play in his own zone and teach Roberts how to play period. Defensive play is much worse with the two new additions

Namestinkov should not have been able to play in this game after his blindside head shot taken out Henderson. Injury on the play no penalty and no review when all season long these clowns took out the iPad to review potential missed major penalties.

Absolutely atrocious officiating! Nichol horrible waste of space and Wilson thank god he's retiring.

Yes lack of discipline continues to hamper this team. Villy no need to chirp and get 10 when your bench is short. McCoy tied up with the guy and you take the extra shot with 35 seconds left in the game. Where is thought process at with these players.

Can't blame coaching for players lack of decision making. You could have the Lord saviour himself and they wouldn't listen it appears.

Don't know what the hell happened to this team since losing to London back to back! Its been downhill since.

OHL scoresheet caught the Speer from Walton. Match penalty!!! What a stupid move on his part. Scared to hit in the game, floats around the ice all game then can't drop the gloves or mix it up you Speer the guy. Just sums up his last 1.5 month of play.

Can't say I disagree with what was said here. Can't see the jets giving him a contract.

Or the lack there of. You need winning players, high character players. Players that buy in to the goal. Not players that think their to good for the league. London for example, high quality, talented player, promising futures, but they bring it every night.

I blame RP for this disaster. I will be very disappointed in Dario if he brings him back.

I guess you give him the spring draft but after that. Ship him out. He and a few of his buddies he's hired within the organization.
