In all fairness Villy didn't miss a shift on Wednesday when Leskovar got a 5, and even got a goal and assist during the pp, also felt like he played the majority of it.Wow Lombardi really looked hurt on that hit from McCoy to come back and fly into the offensive zone on the PP.
These officials are a bunch of jokes!!! McCoy most 4 minutes for boarding if that.
Unreal!!!

Wasn't disputing that. Just hope McCoy is back just as fast as Leskovar. In Bramptons case they probably hoped he did get two games because he took several penalties in the North bay game. I personally think he's a liability for Brampton heading into the playoffs. In all fairness Villy didn't miss a shift on Wednesday when Leskovar got a 5, and even got a goal and assist during the pp, also felt like he played the majority of it.
Wolves win helped the stingHe has deserved all the flack he's gotten thru the years, but look at Musty blocking multiple point shots at the end to hold the lead! That's gotta fire the team up big time. Shows great maturity as im gonna guess he didn't have 10 blocks combined his first 2-3 years & he got 2or3 there.
It was a good grind out win for the wolves. Guys were sacrificing their bodies and that was good to see. They’re going to need more of that going down the stretch. All the penalties they take is worrisome though because that could cost them come playoff time playing against a good PP teamWasn't disputing that. Just hope McCoy is back just as fast as Leskovar. Unhearled player for the Wolves tonight. O'Dell blocked many shots and was steady back there. Nothing flashy but protects the home. We need 4 more of him to be honest.
Give props to Musty for blocking several point shots in the last few minutes in the game.

I said a few posts back that I think Street could do more than they’re letting him. They let him against Brampton and he had a great game. I’d actually like to see him play with Coughlan or Villeneuve just to see how that would go. Or maybe it would be too physical of a line and they’d take too many penalties lol.. Or try him with Musty. Street separates the man from the puck and that would give Musty more room out thereWow if we’re feeling somewhat good about losing 7-3 this season might as well be over, missing a few players or not.
Also am I living in a parallel universe or did Barney say something to the extent that we are trending in the right direction!? What is that 3 wins since the deadline? I’d hate to see what he would consider trending in the wrong direction. As someone mentioned for a team that takes so many penalties outside of Street (who should have been given more ice time long ago) and maybe Coughlin we are pretty soft as most penalties are lazy or stupid and not the result of strong physical play. Not sure what to make of Barney now or the rest of this season but I wouldn’t be surprised if we were out in four or five. As far as finishing six or seventh to me neither would have much bearing on that outcome. Fully prepared for three losses on the roadie.
Any update on the missing players?
What else can be said about Walton? And Pharand, for that matter.Surprised no one is commenting on Walton. Really disappointing effort and appears not invested. Musty showed leadership last night. Grabbing the puck for the new kids first point and blocking shots. Paying the price to win. Hope he carries the same moving forward. They definitely need it. Villy taking retaliatory penalties after the whistle has to stop. Take a number and put your effort on the pp. Make them pay that way.
Hope Chucky isn’t out long term. Not sure why the Wolves have not signed one of their drafted goalies over the past two drafts. There is at least two that were drafted quite high. Another two later with some good reviews. Other teams have recently signed a young goalie I think we need to sign of our picks really soon or risk having to draft another one using a high pick again.
As for McCoy that was the softest major all season. Refs were sold on Lombardi’s walk to the dressing room only to return next shift full stride.

Maybe because there’s 13 hrs diff where I’m atMost of your clarity exists on the nightshift it appears.

Think you saw it right the first time. No way was it a major. I think it was refs in training night.was that really a legit penalty didn't look bad to me? I didn't think 5 min and misconduct warranted, I need to look at it again
Certainly not leading by example. It's definitely a weaker call, but there's no reason to forearm someone into the boards like that. Best case scenario he's getting a 2minute minor and putting them two men down anyways. I'm not sure what changed with McCoy from last year to this year, but it's really been a step backwards, I thought he'd be in contention for being one of the best OAs in the OHL this year.
I’m pretty sure most are noticing Walton is a shadow of himself. Can’t imagine what’s up with him but he doesn’t look like he wants it nearly bad enough. Certainly has contributed to the slump.Surprised no one is commenting on Walton. Really disappointing effort and appears not invested. Musty showed leadership last night.
