What’s up with that? Injuries or healthy scratch?Musty and Delic

It's what was always going to happen, we took advantage of an easy 1st half and now we have a gauntlet.Given how this team spends half the game in the box, it's amazing how soft they are.
Down to 7th in the conference. Joke of a season.

Now in terms of rebuilding Ottawa, North Bay, Peterborough and Brantford are way ahead of us. We have 2x 2nds this draft, likely get back the 2nd from the Hage deal but then no 2nds until 2029.
In comparison including 2029 draft
Brampton has 5x 2nds and 2x 3rds Brantford has 10x 2nds and 6x 3rds, Niagara has 4x 2nds and 5x 3rds,
North Bay has 4x 2nds, 3x 3rds plus 3 1st rounders from last season
Ottawa has 8x 2nds and 5x 3rds
Peterborough has their boat load of 1st from last years deadline plus 6x 2nds, and 7x 3rds
Yes we can sell off a combo of Villy, Walton, and Mews, but North Bay can still move Therrien, Procyszyn, Ride and McIvor, Peterborough and Ottawa will also still have players to move next year.
This is just the Eastern conference I picture Brantford loading up next year, they may lose Lardis but will still have Brown, Vanacker, O'Brein, Protz, Jiricek and Leenders. They will weaponize their picks.
Really believe the wolves should be looking at drafting a player from the Little Caesars Massimo Santa Maria, the name alone may bring a miracle and a Devine blessing to put our team in the running next season. God willing, amen![]()
So was KohanSomeone is out, Klinkhammer is up from the cubs

Between his ranking going down and the wolves continuing to lose, he likely won't need to force his way here.Hopefully, Chitaroni forces his way to the wolves.
Yes those are significant losses but you’re statement of no expectations makes me think of the saying “if you think you are beaten (before you start) you most certainly are” I hope no one m the team has that attitude. No Dean,Clayton, Ewles, Musty and Delic…no expectations. As Villy said post game, everyone needs to play their role. Kids showed some nice character after being down 4-0..
Most of your clarity exists on the nightshift it appears.Yes those are significant losses but you’re statement of no expectations makes me think of the saying “if you think you are beaten (before you start) you most certainly are” I hope no one m the team has that attitude.
The wolves have been a joke of a team since the Foligno era they just traded 12 picks and a player for 2 players that aren't making the difference i feel bad for you diehard fans that keep hoping year after year i basically gave up during the Burguess fiasco i basically go to a game or 2 every year so sad that this organisation sucks every year and can't get it done.Given how this team spends half the game in the box, it's amazing how soft they are.

Maybe I'm crazy but I'd give Henderson, Zillotto and Coughlan a chance in the top 6 over Pharand, Chitaroni and Molnar respectively.Sudbury Wolves (24-21-5-0= 53pts) @ Flint Firebirds (22-24-2-3= 49pts)
- Wolves sit in 7th place in the Eastern Conference, 1 point behind the Brampton Steelheads
- Firebirds sit in 6th place in the Western Conference 2 points ahead of the Sarnia Sting
- Wolves last 10 is pretty abysmal - 2-8-0-0
- Flints last 10 is not so bad - 5-3-0-2
- Sudbury has 18 games left this season compared to Flint's 17.
- Sudbury native Sam McCue(27-19-46) is the leading scorer for Flint and will dress alongside former Wolves Evan Konyen and Matthew Mania
- Brampton is off tonight so a good game for Sudbury to climb back into 6th with both teams having played the same amount of games.
- 12th-round pick in 2024 Bohdi Ryan will see his first OHL action tonight as he centers the Wolves 4th line.

was that really a legit penalty didn't look bad to me? I didn't think 5 min and misconduct warranted, I need to look at it againGreat start, momentum disappearing with dumb penalties by the usual suspects. Great leadership as usual.
And McCoy is gone, 45 minutes of 5 d-men hockey.
It's definitely a weaker call, but there's no reason to forearm someone into the boards like that. Best case scenario he's getting a 2minute minor and putting them two men down anyways. I'm not sure what changed with McCoy from last year to this year, but it's really been a step backwards, I thought he'd be in contention for being one of the best OAs in the OHL this year.was that really a legit penalty didn't look bad to me? That call was as soft as butter!!! Next level that's not even a call. Lombardi 100 lbs soaking wet just like that puke you call an official in Scott. It's definitely a weaker call, but there's no reason to forearm someone into the boards like that.
