Maybe we can have list of potential GM's that will be available season end. Perhaps some good assistant GM's in the league that are ready for the next step.

I would be open to Barney wearing both hats. He has a good staff around him and it might be how we have him stay a little longer? But also open to others!

Certainly not unprecedented, Stan Butler when he was in North Bay, and I think Marty Williamson in Barrie. Likely others as well. Others can chime in that are more knowledgeable than I in this area.

Barney has a lot more to prove before he goes anywhere, it’s about how you cross the finish line. I imagine his theory of play how you practice and practice how you play has not been evident of late. Started out great but has a ways to go before any GM or AHL consideration.

Agree, and for all it is a development league.. coaches included. Some just make a career of it.

Things changed a bit compared to last year. You used to be able to open the scoresheet but now it's not available until the lineups are released.

Well tonight went as bad as possible.

Barrie, Brampton, Brantford and Kingston all won tonight.

Last year we were in first in our division at the deadline and landed up in fifth ,this year we were in fifth at the deadline and could land up in seventh. Any thoughts?

Thoughts? We gave up a top 4 dman next year, 4x 2nds and 4x 3rds to land in the same spot we were projected to be in at the start of the season.

We could have rewarded our younger players with more opportunity to play high leverage minutes and get a more complete look at what next seasons team will look like. See where improvements could be made.
