Really wish DeAngelis would pretend to care defensively... The pairing of him and Ewles is a disaster.

Another dumb penalty by Villeneuve, kid does not learn.

Also what is going on with these Soo camera angles, the amount of types they're zoomed in on a player close enough we can see their nose hairs, but we can't see any of the actual play is silly. Have they neve watched a hockey broadcast before?

Rookies were rookies tonight. Blonda, Jackson and Bruce had a very tough night. Then some players forgot to pick up their men on the back check. Way too many open players because players were turning up ice before we even won the puck battle behind the net.

We backed in so much tonight and gave the Soo so much ice coming into our zone. Lack of discipline didn't help. Don't really fault Marshall he had no help tonight. Wolves just didn't show up to play and took this game too lightly. In fact rough outings vs Flint and the Soo. They need to get back to playing tight checking game.

On the bright side Pharand with the hatty and Walton with a 4 point night. Would rather get a W over individual stats however.

Wolves had a great chance to stay up in the standing but just wasn't meant to be. Bus legs from the get go!

Oh god Amanda is on the mic again. I have to start showing up to games to avoid this mess.

Also who lets Brampton wear this jersey as the away team
For these games, I have started listening to the radio broadcast while watching on TV. If I pause my DVR for about 5 seconds to get rid of the delay, it syncs up nicely and is 100x a better experience for watching the game. 😂

The "A" team certainly showed up in the first and second...."B" team in the third.
Awesome to see Pharand stand up for Odell. Pretty crappy for Gee to be raising his arms as he was escorted off the ice for kneeing a player.
On to the next one

Would you move Musty, Delic and McCoy for Wassilyn and Crete?
I think Niagara is at the oa cap so they would have to send OAs back and you likely don't take NVV or Get Flores if the are going for it. I forget they other option but it would potentially be a framework to start from to me.

That said I double they offer that those have been good players for them this year

If I am Niagara, I am soft buying this year to go all in next year. If they did that deal it would be all in and rebuild next season because none of those 3 would be back next yeat. Let Oshawa, Barrie and Brampton deplet their assets, get some experience and take a run at it next year maybe go after Walton or Villy depending on next season.

Simply standing pat may be the way to go. The problem with that is Barrie and Brampton just might be better next season than this season.

There may be some options for Niagara, I'd lean more on the 18 year old side for players as opposed to one and done players.

I was just looking at the draft pick database and I hear you with what Brampton has in picks currently they could make some more big moves this year and off-season.

Barrie if they want to get better though will have to be smart with their limited assets we have seen it hinder them already with the 3 way trade.

Hopefully Sudbury can turn Musty, the OAs, Plus Villy and Walton next year in to a deep asset pool. Walton if he keeps this up could bring a Rhekof style deal next year.

This is a game today to gauge where we stand going forward and what direction the team should go. I think Niagara is the team in the east to beat.
