I really like his game...simple but effective game with little flash. He's a big reason Wolves have the top PK in the league. With more games I'd expect we can start to see some offensive abilities as well...that's a tough ask paired up with Blonda. . I think he'd develop better paired up with someone a little more trustworthy on the defensive side of the puck.
At the start of the season he was paired with McCoy

Awesome game. Lots of effort by the wolves offensively and defensively. Rookies are incredible.
Kudos to Villeneuve for not fighting no matter how much Erie were goading him into one. I believe he was asking a few to take the first punch to avoid getting suspended.
Hopefully the same wolves team shows up tomorrow.
Shout out to Henderson for a good fight

O'Dell doesn't get mentioned much. This guy is logging big minutes with McCoy in a shut down role. He has filled a huge hole, his improvement and progression has been staggering tbh. No points yet, but really doesn't matter with the job O'Dell and McCoy are doing against other teams top lines

Henderson, Krawchuk, Weeks, Degrazia, Serensits - Can any team match up to the success of this draft? Henderson might be the best one of the bunch. Kid has speed and skill, grit and heart. He knows how to win battles and come out with the puck. He's very good with his stick and breaking up plays, also really uses his body well to protect the puck and get body position on guys. He could end up an NHL pick if he keep progressing the way he has

Would have been quite the goal if Henderson had put away that Forsberg-style move. It is clear now to me that Henderson isn't just a PK guy who works hard - he's also a skilled player. His progress this season has been impressive. I'd like to see him get consistent top 6 minutes following the trade deadline (I'm assuming a sell). Goes to show how scouting is such an inexact science for a player like that to get passed on for 15 rounds.

Congrats to the Wolves on 2/2 this weekend - this team ain't slowing down.

Just got home, turned the game on to see OT and McCoy leading the rush and he scores. Not bad timing. First 3 game winning streak of the season.
A win is a win but far from pretty tonight. Looked a bit tired (some players) and not connected. D had a hard time clearing our zone because all 3 forwards had already blown the zone. One time our D had the puck pinned in our corner and was being checked, all three of our forwards were outside our zone.
We were out hit in first period and allowed too many odd man rushes all game. One shot in third period. Pharand was one of a few bright spots.
Back to Back is tough after emotional Shorsey dominating win against Erie.
A developing team wins ugly games and tonight was ugly. I expect by Wednesday in the Sault we’ll see more clean and connected hockey.

Wolves tried hard to lose that one. Third period was terrible. Awesome OT goal by McCoy. Nice short tribute to Mania, Collins and Konyen. Then Mania spoils it by taunting the bench after his goal.
Whats up with the ice. It was still wet at the end of the periods. Must have made it hard for skating and passing...come on sudbury arena you can do better.
The juggler should have stayed home and practised some more

Musty is in town but where is he not at the games.
Could have been in Zulich box (I have seen scratches there in the past) or the gondola. I remember when I interned for the Battalion during College and when they were still in Brampton I'd have to look for them in the stands at times to sign autographs for the timbits teams.
