Tough weekend, three of the better teams in the OHL in three days, 7pm start friday, 4pm start Saturday, 2pm start Sunday, ridiculous schedule. Under 24 hours between each puck drop.

Down 2 early. Yikes.

And Musty gets us on the board!
Really need to see the defence step up at the blueline, they're just letting Kitchener walk in untouched, as evident by the shots on goal.

It was embarrassing for Mercer to have to hold on for his life against a 15-year-old who was 2 inches shorter and 30 lbs lighter than him.

Can someone also teach these commentators how to say Villeneuve? Going to go crazy listening to them call him Vilnooeve

I am in the GTA for work so I caught the game D breakdowns is understatement of the year. This system relies on the f core to backcheck and pick up high slot guys and I feel like that needs a ton of work. I did hear from a few superfans here that musty returned on the side agreement that trhe wolves would agree to trade him and that they have sent Gaulton down for a short stint to get him ready, not sure how true either of these things are but I always enjoy the superfan scuttle but at other rinks lol

Technically the sky only appears blue. Nitrogen and oxygen molecules scatter and our eyes pick up blue.
My point is that things aren't always what they seem but as you are too busy making sarcastic comments to posters who rarely post love the wolves and want to be involved...you wouldnt see that would you. That's a pun. Thought I'd point that out too.

Lots of posters here have made comments about musty and the situation and all of the situations so maybe we should all take a step back and think that maybe things just arent what they seem and what we post is also inevitably gossip

Since I enjoyed writing that post and I am also enjoying my coffee before work I will add my thoughts and my interpretation of gossip items as someone who has followed the OHL for several decades
1. Klinkhammer was dealt as a favour to make the mania deal. I believe he will join Espanola or the cubs soon. I do like the kids play and wish him well but if you can develop a younger player in that roll...
2. Misty is being driven by his agent and the nhl. There have been posts regarding his attitude and as a teammate and whatnot but I highly doubt he has much of a say really. In the end once you have an elc the nhl takes over on all decision making. Fans should lay off on him, his attitude and character...having seen this before, he likely feels frutrated by what is ultimately being dictated by those above. He's a kid. Hard situation. Glad he is back.
3. One of the goalies will get dealt soon. Gaulton is my first choice because he would have the larger school package as a higher pick. Makes sense as he is being held off roster so as to not blow an A card. However. Teams like Oshawa may make a move for Krawchuk if they feel they need a stronger backup to go further. Likely why Gaulton has been sent down to prepare on an emergency JrA card.
4. I am a huge Walton fan, but I also wouldn't be surprised if he is on market as of trade deadline. His positives are massive. His inconsistency and style of play may not fit this system. Barney seems to like the grinders. Might be being shopped for a top D man for a team that needs scoring.

Sudbury looked like they deviated away from the defensive and strong forechecking game present in the first five or six games. Home games vs Sarnia, Ottawa and then Kitchener last night has put the fewest goals against team back to mid of the pack. I guess expecting them to play that style every game just wasn't sustainable.

Hope they can rebound and get back to playing a tight checking strong puck pursuit team again. They need to keep games close. When they fall behind early it seems that they just give up and their is still 50 minutes left to play.

Hope to see better efforts from the entire team in the next two road games because next week they have Barrie back to back.

You think Oshawa wants any of our goalies to go all in ??? OMG common lolll
I absolutely do. Krawchuk in particular. They have a young 08 I believe and a proven starter. They need a backup who can go in with some experience if they are going all in. Look at Brampton last year. Not all in but, when Leenders was injured...as talented as JI is, he was young. Krawchuk also an 05 and likely not to be returned as an OA. The deal would fit. So yes. I do.
