Full marks to the Wolves tonight.
Solid goaltending by Vondras, stopping 33 for the shutout.
Lots of pressure on the Petes all night and the Wolves were physical but disciplined.
Poor Sztuska played well, stopping 40 of 44 but it just wasn't enough.
The DeAngelis add from the Spits was a good move and the Wolves will be even stronger when Musty returns.

It's your turn to be the bigger, older team in the East - best of luck.

Yea. Little selfish in my opinion. Coughlin didn't play much tonight on the 4th line.

I'm curious what the plan is to get Pharhand going. His second half last season wasn't that good and it's early but I'd like to see him more scoring chance's.

I agree on both accounts. I like Coughlin game he on pucks hard creates turnovers, goes to net. Pharand needs to follow that, has size, skill, needs get his motor running. Great kid, I want the best for him but he has to get his game to next level this season.

Once Mania returns, and then there's still a strong chance Toure returns (Belleville in AHL has major log jam on D). Best D Wolves have had in a long time. Would be 8 of DeAngelis, Collins, Anania, Chromiak, Mania, Toure, Pryce, Protz. Will be fun to see how it all unfolds

Only thing that is a concern is the PP %. We are under 6% at the moment. Wolves need to figure it out. The PK on the other hand so far has been incredible. Goals against at 4 in 3 games. Kingston can score but also gets scored against lots so will be interesting to see how this works out tomorrow night.

I think whoever wins tomorrows matchup is whoever’s goalie plays better.

If vaccari starts hot look out but if he starts cold it’ll be a long game. Hopefully burns and ludwinski both can play. I assume musty is still at camp?

Yes it wii be difficult to continue to be successful with a PP under 6%. Ouch. So given Vondras got a shutout tonight you think he’d start tonight and Chucky play Sat afternoon?
