This is great news. Was worried Toure would be out long-term.
Solid 6 with Anania, Toure, Collins, DeAngelis, Mania and Protz.

I'd like to see them add one more, but with Protz' improvements, they may focus the upgrades on the forward core. But will they look to add ...
It would kill me to see either of these players moved. K.Walt has huge potential especially if over the next couple off-seasons he can add some lbs, Protz always seems to get his shots through traffic to the net, one of the better Sudbury Drafted Dmen I 've seen since Capobianco. And I totally agree Villeneuve is untouchable...In the next few season he will be the heart and sole of this team. I see zero weaknesses in his game.Safe to say other teams will be asking about Protz and K.Walton in any big name deals, along with picks. Would hurt to deal any of those two guys. I get this weird deja vu feeling if the Wolves were to ever trade Protz, it turning into another Stefan LeBlanc scenario. Villeneuve should not be in play as he's too important of a player for this team. Taylor could be in play once the January window opens up. Not sure what to think of Pharand at this point. Besides being a local kid, he's been very underwhelming. Maybe once the dust settles on player movement he is centering the 4th line - Yearwood Pharand Coughlan

Mr . Walton would look good beside his brother in Windsor.Safe to say other teams will be asking about Protz and K.Walton in any big name deals, along with picks. They should easily be able to pickup 2-3 really strong players. and have picks leftover.
All your young players will have to be on the table to be able to make trades for elite players. To make to two to three trades Sudbury will have to likely trade two to three roster players. From my count from the list provided in the post the Wolves have six, 2nds, six, 3rds and one 4th. In a trade for Owen Beck the cost would likely be either a young player and two, 2nds and two, 3rds or in a draft pick trade only three, 2nds and three 3rds. A similar return would be expected for a player like Gavin Hayes. If one deal included the roster player listed in the post the other being mostly a draft pick trade. Those two deals would likely cost Sudbury five, 2nds and five, 3rds without another roster player included in the second trade. That would leave the Wolves with one, 2nd, one, 3rd and one 4th for a third trade. It would kill me to see either of these players moved. Someone say Konnor Smith??We need a couple of shot blocking D to compensate for our goaltending.
A couple of them? Who sits?We need a couple of shot blocking D to compensate for our goaltending.
No!Someone say Konnor Smith??

Give us Walton and a 2nd and you can have Christopolous. What are you offering?
You meant MacCallum, 3, 5?Give us Walton and a 2nd and you can have Christopolous.

We need an elite goaltender to go all the way, easier said than done. Right now we have B goal tending which I am afraid could be our downfall. We need someone that not only saves us a game but can win us one. This where your Gm comes in, who and what does it take. The Wolves have shot blocking D already....and other than OA goaltenders which we have no room for, there aren't many better ones. Goaltending right now is not an issue, special teams are
Barring a season ending injury, there is no need for him in a fully healthy lineup
You have a crap load of picks. Get Adam Dennis on the phone. We need an elite goaltender to go all the way, easier said than done. Lockhart just went for a 3rd and a 5th. I'd ask what you've been drinking but I'm scared to know.Don't think it is as far off as you think and yes we will also take one of your OA's back, just not MacCallum. Lol.
