That slash from Arnsby on Musty, is that reviewable for supplementary discipline by the league

Now I'm no GM so I'll let the people who play internet GM's chat about cost of this type player, if available etc . All I know RP should explore this type player. This type of stuff can't keep happening.

You would think Larmand would take a piece of Arnsby and try to show he brings some sort of value to the team. Really tired of the wolves losing players to injury against these North Bay teams. Maybe Wednesday its time for someone on the wolves to take a piece of one of the North Bay stars. Sure seems like it won't be a friendly game on Wednesday.

Arnsby has always been dirty. Glad it’s not just against us lol.

If it isn’t it should be. Neither of those clowns seen either infraction against Musty while they get eight power plays. Back in the day Arnsby would have been in for a warm welcome Wednesday. I hope Papineau takes note!

We’ll see how good Robertson is when it’s all on him.
 
North Bay vs. Sudbury has had players targetting each other since the days of Coupal vs. Bonvie - it's the nature of one of the best rivalries in the Ontario Hockey League. But if we want to discuss Liam Arnsby and his truculence....let's talk about your boy and his goalie interference that took DDV out of the game - maybe for a long while (it didn't look good from my POV....) And now you're saying your WolfPups should try and knock Robertson out too? How about we discuss the shots taken at Wakely all game long?!?

Your POV is in question. It was clearly ary a shove by Delic to the player not the goaltender. I'll give you an E for effort.

Domino Effect got penalized. If he hadn;t initiated the contact from behind, nobody would have been collapsing DDV's ankle. I'd be surprised if it's *just* a bad sprain - that lower leg of his got torqued good. Either way, the crease looks like it's going to be Charlie Robertson's for awhile - thank the Hockey Gods for good goaltending depth!

LMAO. Coupal took a lot punches during his wolves tenure. A team player :)

Yesterday’s game was about as rough as it gets these days. There were plenty of cheap shots that could have been called. The Wednesday game might be tame in comparison as the league will be on high alert and refs likely inform coaches everything will be called.

Arnsby certainly appeared to target Musty for some reason, but is not a player that should necessarily be classified as dirty imo. Dirty should be reserved for players that repeatedly cross the line with cheap shots, M.McCue this season for example.

Arnsby is a hard hitter, arguably the best hitter in the league. Collisions with him can be violent, no different than O.Beck or Musty this season who look to hit everything hard. I think all three are effective hitters, and I like it.

If the Wolves want to win any of the eight games vs North Bay this year they need to find some size and toughness. No response on Arnsby after boarding Musty. Wolves lack an identity and Papineau needs to find a couple of players who can gel this team together. Smith from the Pete’s and Florian X would be two candidates to start with.

The third piece is finding another finisher. Not sure what to make of our second line. To win a championship we need more consistent production from a second unit. Not sure we have the right mix. Lack the size with the skill and overall finish imo.

Anyone know what’s up with Pryce? Is he hurt or scratched?

Yep. Day 12 today. Some team is going to get a steal of a deal with Chromiak (Sudbury low balled), or get him for free. Unless there's multiple teams wanting his services, and one of those teams step up in the final hours with a fair offer with that team not wanting to lose out on the opportunity of getting a Dman of Chromiak's calibre for a reasonable price.

Getting very tight. Did not expect this to drag out as long as it has. Seems Paps is willing to wait it out right until the end. Hopefully he doesn't overplay his hand. Hopefully any 2 or more of Peterborough, Brantford, Kingston or Oshawa are in on the Chromiak sweepstakes.

Brantford has our missing pieces Donovan and Xhekaj as I see it but at a cost. If Branford is in a building mode then youth is their goal. This early cost is high but I believe Chromiak, Chitaroni and Larmand would do it. Would you do this deal no substitutions?
