Great game aside from the delay. Hope Larmand is packing his bags. Still think we need to upgrade at OA but McCallum definitely put up one of the better games of his career tonight. Love the effort by Musty on a few of those backcheck as well. Team just needs to get more consistent.

McCallum great game tonight along with most the team. Good bounce back effort. That’s the type of OA performance we want with our big guns. Adding in Dvorsky should make for 2 really good lines
Unlike last year I really don’t see the Logan Morrison and Avery Hayes of the 2024 deadline. Jack Beck has already moved, so that leaves Deni Goure (attack want to to win this year so probably off the table) and Mayer and Punnett are probably the top d men. Sudbury has to work with what they got and i don’t think that’s a bad thing in this case

I think it would be absolutely awesome to go into the playoffs with a team like this:

Musty - Dvorsky - Pharand
Delic - Goyette - Rehkopf
Abraham - Villeneuve - Konyen
Walton - Villeneuve - Coughlan
Yearwood/Castle

De Angelis - Brzustewicz
Anania - Toure
Collins - Mania
Pryce

Vondras
Krawchuk

Taylor ++++ to get Brz + Rehkopf and then a lesser package for Abraham/Castle or other 14th F

Love that u guys got Dvorsky! He's gonna make your T6 even more elite & must watch. For whatever reason u guys have always been one of my faves in the east. Probably the jerseys. Haha.

Excited to see who u all add. More than primed to be absolutely loaded come April in what looks like a semi weak conference.

Best of luck!

Brzustewicz and Rehkopf deals won’t be a package. They also both have no trade clauses. You guys are definitely going to be going all in this year tho and is exciting to see .
Many a player waive their NTC to go to a winning team. This is a winning team.

Might cost you Martin and Smith
If these two Rangers continue to perform at the level they are at they will both demand a first round pick plus several draft picks each. Any team wanting to acquire one or both better have a ton of assets in a year when the Mem Cup is in the OHL. This is why they won't both go to just one team IMO.

It seems that Brzustewicz may be creeping towards an Ethan Del Mastro trade comparable.

There’s a lot of hockey to be played before the deadline, but ….

Don't forget about Owen Beck from the Petes, Nelson & DiVencentis - NB, Donovan - Brantford, Hayes and Pitre - Flint

Wonder what kind of offer's paps getting for his dman. Cant let him sit to long but you don't want to get fleeced either. Tense and exciting times.

Surely somebody’s offering something before he’s waived
You need at least two teams that. are offering something. It's the only way you can drive up the price. Teams know Wolves need to move him. No team will overpay unless they know someone else is putting up a competitive bid. All the Wolves can say to a bad offer is fine we'll just waive him but that doesn't help us either!

Spitballing here, but:

If I’m the Ranger’s, I wouldn’t be totally against looking into the possibilities regarding Chromiak.

If we could move, say, Hamara, I’d entertain Chromiak. Missy has one import (Czechia D- Jakob Fibigr) and his countryman, Hamara, would be a good add. It makes sense from Missy’s point of view. Hamara, a top four on a contender, would be cheaper than a comparable NA player. Helps preserve assets for the next couple of years while still improving for a run this year.

Then, work something out with Sudbury for Chromiak. From a Ranger point of view, it makes sense if, by the time the shuffle is done, the cost of bringing in Chromiak is less than the return of trading Hamara. We’d get a little younger and still gain assets.

Sure the rebuilding Rangers could sell off Hamara, or Mesar for that matter, without dealing for Chromiak, but helping Sudbury out of their crowded import situation could be the beginnings of something bigger at the deadline, ;) , knowing that Sudbury will be faced with having to waive Chromiak in a couple weeks, they’ll get hit with low ball offers for Chromiak.

When negotiating always change the scenario. "IF" Chromiak alone does not bring the offer we are looking for, then look to make your blockbuster now and add some assets (players, picks or both) to land what we need. Does not need to be 'just' Chromiak...

Depending on the players involved, a blockbuster may not be able to happen til after Jan 1.

The wolves should get a decent offer. Brantford, Kingston, & Petes are in same division and all have room for an import and could use an ‘05 RD.
