Feeling more and more likely that Jakub Chromiak will be heading to the Brantford Bulldogs or Kingston Frontenacs. Bulldogs currently have 0 imports on their roster, Frontenacs have 1. Both have the necessary picks to facilitate a deal and even though he is an import '05, his value will still be somewhat high. As much as I would love Chromiak on the Petes, pick wise, they can't compete.

Petes don't have the picks, but they definitely have the players to make a bigger deal happen.

Holy moly amazing news. Seemed like such a long shot to report!

Sad that Chromiak will need to be moved. He’s improved so much but he will get more opportunity in his draft year somewhere else. He was likely going to play 3rd pair on our team this year.

Getting a player of this caliber for zero players/picks is a big deal. I’d love to see them go with a Goyette/Delic line & a Musty/Dvorsky line.

If it wasn’t clear already, the Wolves need to be all in this year.

Can’t wait to see this guy play!

My previously posted long shot perfect world scenario played out exactly. With what the Wolves have in the cupboard now, there is no reason not to turn them into a full on powerhouse. Lets see what this looks like on the ice hopefully Friday.

Wolves send Chromiak to Kingston for Ludiwinski as a start point.

Or

Donovan and Lardis for Chromiak, Walton, Picks.

Martin, McCue or Giroux as a local guy in place of the OA Fs we have and a guy like Rehkopf would have this team absolutely loaded. Trust the internal development of the younger Fs like Pharand and Villeneuve the way the nights do, and we’re in great shape.

Never discount another surprise report either

Also I think coughlan could really breakout
