Agree with the Barlow comparison. My tongue in cheek comment wasn’t to offend Callum Ritchie, in fact I admire his game and appreciate that 200ft game. My comment was made jokingly as the so called NHL Draft rankings always had Ritchie so much higher than Musty. I always felt the gap wasn’t that great. I just felt Musty was being disrespected. I wish Ritchie all the best for the playoffs and draft.
I will admit I’m not as tuned into NHL rankings as I normally would be this time of year but don’t most have Barlow 1 Musty 2 and Ritchie 3 for OHL skaters?

Now yes, but prior to Christmas some had Musty outside first round. I think they will go somewhere between 12-32.

Your series vs the Petes will play out like this:
Game #1 - Wolves get in a boatload of penalty trouble and lose 6-2
Game #2 - Wolves overcome the penalty issues from game 1 and sneak away with the split. 5-3
Games 3 & 4 - results never in doubt. Wins of 6-5 OT and 4-2
Game 5 - penalties dictate the outcome again, 5-2 Petes
Game 6 - Wolves cruise to the series win by scoring the tying goal with 5 seconds left and Coghlan scores with winner in double OT 5-4

Good luck!!!

Only thing you're missing is for Stillman to show he's a true Wolves alumni and out dumb penalty the wolves.

Stillman works his tail off but tends to get boarding calls or will jump someone to defend a teammate after a big hit. And always at the worst times lol. But dude can skate and work ethic is good.
Sudbury makes that trade any day of the week. Twice on Sundays.

@howlman are you as confident in your wolves as you pretend to be laughing at my posts saying the Petes will win the series? If so im good to make a friendly wager :)

"No bottom 4 team can even see game 6 against teh Petes in round 1. And then after that I'd love Ott in round 2. Our big Dmen would dominate Pinelli/Rohrer/Beck. Boucher isnt carrying you"

All the pressure is on the Petes. I guess you gotta have that kind of cockiness when you trade away guys like Lardis and Van Volsen. Let's see how the underdog Wolves hold up against a stacked Petes lineup. Nothing like a good underdog story.. GO WOLVES GO!

The bottom line is that the team that wants it more will win this series. In one instance Sudbury has the advantage as they are used to the travel.

Can the Petes stay in front in the scoring and who is going to have the hotter goalie?
The Pete's at home are beatable.
The question is which 2nd and 3rd line is going to step up in the points.

Can the power players play the full ice.

Not to mention Panwar he could’ve made a huge difference himself as an OA. Him I would’ve been scared of. Add to that the Wolves recent play at home. London is the most recent loss out of a string of wins, and that was a game they should’ve won to boot. Sudbury fans will be jacked way up to have playoff hockey again and that should have an effect on the players. I’ve been in a lot of arenas, and there aren’t many like it left when it’s really cooking.
Also, your’e bang on that the team that wants it more will usually win unless the talent differential is far too pronounced (the exception being the miracle on ice) Words of wisdom my dad told me many years ago. he doesn’t even remember telling me, but I’ve never forgotten it and it remains largely true.

Gotta love it no pressure, nothing to lose and everything to gain. A team that went all in looking to make a deep run against a team that had to make a surge just to make the playoffs. I really don’t think anyone can argue that the Petes don’t have the pressure given what their management has invested and their subsequent expectations.

The Petes have played stress free all year…. They rode that all the way to a distant 4th….

I think you are wrong. The Petes will be under immense stress considering everything this is the year they were supposed to go for it. They made all the deals for stars. Don't forget they are also home ice.

Sudbury was the team that was going to make the playoffs because Osh and Kingston were so bad. Then they made a jump.

No of the 2 teams, I would say there is more pressure on Peterborough than you guys.

If yo guys win it will be hey they did good.

not sure Petes fans will say the same thing if you win.

Not sure you got my post . I don't think it's even arguable to suggest all the pressure is not on Peterborough. Reading my post again I don't see how it could have been misinterpreted. Unless you think I was saying the pressure was on the Wolves, which of course it isn't.

Pressure's on the Petes.

Wolves in 6.
That's what I said..in spades.

Will be fun to see how the Wolves start against the Pete’s. They’re alteady in playoff mode as we can see everybody is better defensively.

I hope MacKenzie knows what he's doing... not sure I'm a fan of these lines at this point.

Shoutout to Clattenberg on the golf course for injuring Collins the last game of the year.
