I suspect a lot of this is Gallant wanting to set the tone for the season. Reaves is a fourth liner and the Subban hit wasn’t so egregious.

He’s part of the team and has clearly made an impact already which says a lot about his character. I wouldn’t discount him as a fourth liner. He’s an important cog of the machine.

But yeah the hit is 50/50 for sure

His speed and size, willingness to go to the net is really enough for me to keep him around. He has a very good shot as well, he needs to snap off his wrister more.

I just "think" he needs to do a little more of exactly that "think".
Bring some different looks because the ones that he does bring isn't going to work.
