Post-Game Talk: Stupendous Stu offsets the broken Hyman

I hope Knoblauch makes a show of it.

DeBoer made a huge show about a supposed "star player" getting injured, well guess what asswipe now we've actually had a legitmate star player get injured directly due to officiating malfeasance.

I'd call DeBoer out for playing the media and the league before going out and trying to injure our players. They're not even playing hockey in some cases any more.
Gonna be worse in game 5 in Dallas. Deboer sure has clowned himself in this series with his comments but I think also designed to get an us against the world thing going in his room. Trying to rally them in some way but his own players aren't buying it.

Stars management gotta wonder why they're paying Rants 11M for this kind of playoff play. Most of his production and all of his best games have been against his former team.

I don’t get why Hyman was so in the Stars and their fans heads. They would love him if he played for them. Likable heart-and-soul guy.

It’s a big loss but I really don’t think we’re f***ed. If one of our Hulks was injured than yes I’d say we were f***ed.

There was a moment in time where Panthers were up 3-0 in their series and the Oilers were only 1-1 in this series. Now they are both 3-1. Didn't see that happening. I wonder if Panthers even close out today.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Carolina win tonight. They have been mental midgets in the ECF and Panthers game them some life and belief with a uninspired effort in game 4.

He was a wrecking ball throwing 10 hits per game. I’d be thrilled not to have to worry about a guy like that anymore.

The Panthers always do this. After watching one period of the last game I would've bet on Canes winning. Just had that look to it. I almost think that theres pressure from the broadcasters and the owners to make the series longer for more time slots, more revenue, more advertising. Short series are bad for business. I wonder about a lot of pro sports today and scripts, influence, occurring.

Sigh, this is the real one. The doppleganger parted his hair on the other side.
In my brain I just thought it was funny to say that. Terrible news on Hyman. KK won't end the suspense and tell us wrist or shoulder. "Lets just say upperbody" KK forever the tactician, doesn't even want next season opponents to know. Smart man.

Best coach here since Sather/Muckler.

Walking out of the building the last 2 games has been interesting. Fans are happy but not giddy. Could be that the we had enough opportunities to cheer during the game or that the games were too early for any pre-drinking but mostly I think it shows that the fans, like the team, realize these are just wins 10 and 11.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I left the building last night, and it's even the same thing myself. In any other year I would have been on top of the world, don't think I'll get there again until win 16.

I get it. Picture a Marchment that actually also scores a bunch of goals as well. Stars just aren't getting anybody with this sort of contribution. He's in the players heads too. I like the celly he did, whats that called, I see cooler kids doing it but I'm old and out of touch. heh

“Likely” done for the season? Is there some universe where he recovers from the surgery in 2 weeks? One can always hope. :(
I think they add the likely qualifier in case the early part of Hyman's recovery window overlaps with the potential for SCF games still be played in the 4th week of June. For example, Erik Cole and him making his playoffs debut in Game 6 of the SCF after a neck injury.

Technically Hyman can still play. He just need to hit players.
Pass. By anybody that saw warrior Mike Grier keep coming back and keep hitting and separating his shoulder and getting it snapped in on the bench or room and coming out again. My lord. I felt that pain everytime he laid a hit. Oh look arm hanging limp again.

Hyman probably would go for it too. Don't do it. Tell Frederic to do something. Isn't hits supposed to be his thing? It was in Boston when he was at his best.
