Post-Game Talk: Stupendous Stu offsets the broken Hyman

Not that I really want to do it, but I could see them going 11-7 to ease Ekholm back in.

Not sure that I want to go back to 11-7 though as having set pairs has so many advantages over guys playing with a different partner every other shift.
Not an ideal solution but the injuries to Brown and now Hyman makes this look like it’s more likely to happen. At least for game five anyway if they think there’s a chance one of Brown or Hyman is just a short term injury. I’m thinking if the team thinks neither are coming back any time soon they’ll want to figure out who that twelfth forward is quickly and get him up to speed. I don’t think the 11-7 would go on any longer than Ekholm’s first game back just to make sure he can play, if it happens at all.

Yes I agree liiked shoulder separation.
Wonder when they pop it back in how long it takes to heal?
You don’t pop a separated shoulder back in. That’s a dislocated shoulder, when it pops in and out of socket. Separated means you blew up/tore the ligaments in the shoulder. Hopefully it was a dislocation. Separation would be worse.

The question with Jeff Skinner is would he play hard and forecheck and clog the passing lanes like the players who are in? Oilers seem to have really dialed in on forecheck and own zone defense, not sure Knoblauch puts in a weak link to chase a few goals. Jones is my choice
Jones has no business being on this club in the playoffs he is not an NHL player

That's some bad luck. It was really a nothing play but his arm got caught. I'm guessing Brown takes his spot on the 1st line now.
I wouldn't say nothing play.

Marchment went to blindside him and he jumps. Could have been avoided. Hope he tears his ACL/MCL everything

It was rough/physical play but it was just a weird bump that went wrong. Marchment is a loser but I dont think it was dirty by any means.

Lets not be like Dallas fans and cry about physical playoff hockey.

Prayers up for Hyman
The dirty play was him going out of his way to clock McDavid a second or two after the Stars scored.
