Not an ideal solution but the injuries to Brown and now Hyman makes this look like it’s more likely to happen. At least for game five anyway if they think there’s a chance one of Brown or Hyman is just a short term injury. I’m thinking if the team thinks neither are coming back any time soon they’ll want to figure out who that twelfth forward is quickly and get him up to speed. I don’t think the 11-7 would go on any longer than Ekholm’s first game back just to make sure he can play, if it happens at all.Not that I really want to do it, but I could see them going 11-7 to ease Ekholm back in.
Not sure that I want to go back to 11-7 though as having set pairs has so many advantages over guys playing with a different partner every other shift.
