I'd give him a lot more time. Big body who lost a lot of crucial development time in Junior. Look how good Evan Bouchard has been the last two playoffs. Everyone thought he didn't have a brain a few years ago.

Right shooting D with Mailloux's tools are hard to come by and we've been bitten in the ass a few times moving young Dmen with upside. Even with his warts, he's still been a key player at every level.

Good chance. Team is not playing well but at the same time when the goalie gives goals like candies it's harder to focus. I've been there and it sucks when you feel like every shots can get in. It's not a great feeling at all.

And who do you put on the bench to ice those extra vets? Engstrom? Mailloux? Reinbacher? What would be the point? It's a development league winning is important but you still got to ice the kids.
