I agree, he is the least skilled player. However the Rangers won 4 out the last 5 games he's played and are 3-4 without him in the lineup. I'm not saying he is the missing link. I'm just saying the least skilled person isn't the problem.

Fasth should bring offense to the third line, even if he doesn't score.

Let him get acclimated to the league and the smaller ice, and then next year put expectations on him. All I want to see is his tenacity this go around.

Bickel could get claimed. He is not making any money next season at $800,000. A pro-rated $700,000 for the rest of this season. $750,000 cap number is below the AHL threshold. $900,000 this season. $925,000 next season.

it would be like Christmas all over again. If not he is in CT the rest of the yr I hope

IF they are stuck with him next yr this would ensure Haley is on the team atleast as a spare or they have some wasted cap space if both are down

To me, I hope that Bickel is bought out---standard buyout style. He is a waste of a contract slot. (Bickel can then be re-signed to an AHL deal.)
